Film d'ambiance d'une nouvelle génération du cinéma allemand, il donne à voir un drame dans un milieu petit bourgeois à huis clos, entre un père absent, un fils névrosé, une mère esseulée et un neveu, élément étranger qui vient perturber le faux équilibre qui y régnait.
Synopsis
Paul, 16 ans, vient de perdre son père. Il débarque à l'improviste dans la famille de son oncle. À la recherche d'un havre où il pourra oublier la douleur de la mort de son père, il s'immisce dans l'univers de cette famille trop belle pour être parfaite. Après un accueil froid voire frigide, la femme de son oncle, Anna se rapproche progressivement de lui, en même temps que sa relation avec son fils est en train d'imploser. Sous la déliquescence apparente de cette famille petit bourgeoise, se cache le vice, sournois, de la manipulation, du mensonge et de la névrose.Actors
