While traveling through Texas (in the vicinity of where several bodies have been uncovered) five friends become lost, with their van running low on gas. When one of the group, Christine, goes out to urinate, two of the others pass the time by having sex in the back of the vehicle. After Christine returns, the quintet pick up a hitchhiker in the hope that he can give them directions, but once inside the van the man attacks them with a knife, stabbing two members of the group to death while the others flee. Vanessa reaches a farmhouse, but while searching for aid she is captured by Leatherface, who ties her to a chair, and gags her.

At an unspecified point in the future, the government created a type of jet which never needed refueling, but which leaked a type radiation that caused those exposed to it to die, and reanimate as intelligent zombies dubbed "Grubs". An extraterrestrial zombie (who may just be a schizophrenic vagrant, and whose appearance constantly shifts between that of a corpse, a tusked beast with irregular genitals, and a normal man) emerges from the sea, and begins making its way to Los Angeles. A motorist notices the zombie walking along a deserted road, picks it up, and dies in an accident moments later. The zombie recovers from the crash, and reanimates the driver by penetrating a wound in the man's chest with its monstrous penis. The ghouls have sex, which ends with the first zombie ejaculating black semen, and stumbling away as the motorist sits among the wreckage of his vehicle, in awe of what had just transpired.

For their vacation, Ash, his wife Linda, their friend Scotty, and his wife Shelly travel to an apparently abandoned cabin in the woods. In the cabin, the quartet finds a recorder, audio reels, and an old book. Scotty plays one of the reels, which were made by the cabin's owners, Professor Raymond Knowby, and his wife Henrietta. The reel reveals the professor and his wife were working on translating the book, a seemingly demonic sex guide known as the Necronomicum Ex-Mortis. While reciting a mantra he found in the Necronomicum, Knowby seemingly went insane, laughing maniacally as he repeated the words over and over again, summoning an evil force that shatters one of the cabin's windows.

A tropical island cursed by voodoo is purchased by a land developer (Mark Shannon) who plans to open a luxury hotel. The film is about a zombie named Otto who hitched a ride to Berlin and begins to explore the city. Agnes Benson, an elderly and paraplegic recluse, hires Jenny Merlin to care for her and her adult son, Timmy, a skilled mimic who has the mentality of a child due to witnessing the accident that crippled his mother, and killed his father. When the man leaves to get cigarettes, Timmy approaches the woman, who panics and tries to run away, dying when she hits her head on a rock after being tripped by Timmy, who believes that they are playing a game. Oblivious to the woman's death, Timmy engages in intercourse with her body, and leaves when he hears the girl's boyfriend approaching.
