The feature is produced by Querosene Filmes, Cria Filmes, Geração Conteúdo and TC Filmes, co-produced and distributed by Universal Pictures. It stars Cláudia Ohana, Vanessa Giácomo, Mateus Solano, André Ramiro between other actors.
Is a tribute to the Brazilian drama, against the backdrop of the novel Dancin' Days, Gilberto Braga, who influenced the imagination of most of the Brazilians in terms of fashion, behavior and thinking. The director Odilon Rocha, told the press that "the film recreates the look of the club that appeared on TV, which is in the imagination of most Brazilians who lived through that time and also the youth who knows through novel scenes that can be seen on the internet. The intention is to take viewers to that colorful universe ".
The film debuted to the public at the Festival do Rio in 2011 for later, according to the plans of the director, be presented in international festivals and be released commercially in Brazil, by Universal films, in 30 March 2012.
Synopsis
Brazil, 1978, a group of people live their lives under the dictatorship, the euphoria of disco fever and the fantasy of "Dancin' Days", a prime time soap, which fictional drama is set on the homonymous night club in Rio de Janeiro. After a fatal incident, Amanda and Dora (a high-class prostitute addicted to the TV drama, and her "maid") are forced to run away from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro with the fed Brandão in hot pursuit. While the excitement of visiting the disco "Dancin' Days" distracts Amanda from the danger of the situation she is in, Dora gets ready to confront her secret past. In a six degrees of separation manner, their destine will cross with João Paulo, a diplomat who feels like a foreigner in his own country, the revolutionary Vicente and his brother Pedro, and the teenager Caio, who was raised by his grandparents and counts with the support of his friend Mônica as he struggles to be accepted as a gay man. Both youngster are crazy about disco fever and fascinated by the soap "Dancin' Days".Actors

Eréndira, a teenaged girl, lives with her eccentric grandmother in a vast, gloomy house in a windswept desert region. The movie, set in Bangor, Maine, is based on some of Verow's experiences in Maine. Joe (Brad Hallowell), 18-year-old high school senior lives with his single mother and his older sister Teresa (Hilary Mann), who works in a convenience store. They live in a notorious estate called the "Capehart Projects". Joe dreams of moving away from town for attending an arts school. Joe is attracted to men and has a crush on his friend Andrew (Gregory J. Lucas), a football player in his high school. Upon the encouragement of Joe's friend Kris (Mindy Hofman) and Andrew's friend Mandy (Jennifer Stackpole), they explore their mutual attraction for each other and fall further in love. Kris and Mandy also experiment sex together. Jackie, a former child star, catches the eye of an infamous, womanizing teacher, Catherine (McAtee), when Jackie goes to college. Catherine and Jackie begin a scandalous affair that draws Jackie away from the college social life. Catherine and Jackie grow closer as they help each other discover more about themselves, when suddenly Jackie gets the chance to go back into her acting days. Catherine becomes uncomfortable with their situation, seeing how it could seemingly never work out, with Jackie having to constantly visit Catherine under the guise of her just being a "friend", as it would be hazardous for both of them for their relationship to get out. Catherine attempts to distance herself from Jackie by trying to declare they were never in a formal relationship, and that Jackie is not worth it in Catherine's eyes, while Jackie claims Catherine is worth it. The next day Jackie shows up at Catherine's doorstep beat up after defending Catherine's reputation. Catherine sees paparazzi taking pictures and quickly drags Jackie into the house. While taking care of Jackie, Jackie notices Catherine is wearing a dress. When questioned about it, she reveals she is attending a party, Jackie asks if she is going alone, Catherine says no but will not reveal her date, and will not let Jackie replace her date, claiming she would just be attention starved; Jackie offends Catherine by insulting her for not being financed by her own means. Jackie stays on the couch at Catherine's when Catherine returns from the party, acting passive-aggressive towards Jackie, she brings her date, a male closer to her age, into her room, causing Jackie to leave. Jackie goes to a party and hangs out with friends. After leaving for LA to set up for the release of a new show Jackie's been cast in, Catherine loses her job due to her relationship with Jackie being partially exposed. Months later Jackie and Catherine are shown sleeping together one last time. Saying their goodbyes, Jackie leaves the next day for her new role.
