Princess Kaiulani (sometimes titled Barbarian Princess) is a 2009 film based on the life of Princess Kaʻiulani (1875–1899) of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

Synopsis

En 1888, Hawaii est une île paradisiaque sur le point de basculer dans la guerre civile. La famille royale est tombée sous l’influence d’un parti rebelle lié au gouvernement américain. En quelques mois, le Palais est envahi et les souverains exilés. Parmi eux, la Princesse Ka’iulani, âgée d’à peine douze ans, se retrouve séparée de sa famille et de sa terre natale, envoyée pour sa propre sécurité en Angleterre, loin d’Hawaï…

Shortly thereafter, he retires from the FBI and attends a family reunion at his father's (Roy Scheider) oceanside home in Aguadilla Bay, Puerto Rico. Tampa crime boss Howard Saint (John Travolta) is enraged by the death of his son, and with right-hand man Quentin Glass (Will Patton) bribes the FBI for confidential information about "Krieg". Saint orders Castle murdered, and Saint's wife, Livia (Laura Harring), demands Castle's entire family be killed as well to "settle the score.

Alex (Shaun Evans) arrives in Sydney, and realizing he has missed his bus, he is then reading his travel guide on stone steps in the street, when Taylor (Scott Mechlowicz) suddenly sits near Alex and makes small talk with him, and then insisting he come with him. The following day, about to leave, Taylor vaguely mentions that Ingrid had to meet someone and had caught a bus, with Alex and Sophie unbemused.
