Dans la grande tradition des studios Aardman Animations et proche de l'esprit de Wallace et Gromit, l’histoire de Robbie le renne est un conte de Noël trempé dans l’humour anglais.
Richard Goleszowski, transfuge d’Aardman et papa de Robbie, en collaboration avec Richard Curtis, scénariste de renom (Quatre mariages et un enterrement, Coup de foudre à Notting Hill), ont mêlé technique d’animation, humour à tous les degrés et imagination. Les parties expressives des personnages sont composées de pâte à modeler et sont agrémentés d'un caractère propre.
Synopsis
Dans un petit village du Pôle Nord, vit la famille du Père Noël (Père Noël, Mère Noël et Bébé Noël). On ne peut pas se tromper : tous les trois portent la barbe blanche ! Arrive alors Robbie le renne, dont le papa a été jadis membre de l’attelage du fameux traîneau du Père Noël. Il rêve de devenir à son tour équipier au sein de l'attelage. Il postule pour ce poste très convoité. Mais il faut des qualités physiques et mentales qu’il est loin de posséder. Pas très costaud, pas sportif du tout, Robbie a peur de ne pas être à la hauteur de son père malgré sa bonne volonté et face à l’équipe des rennes en service, il ne fait pas le poids.Actors

Minions are small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from single-celled organisms into beings who exist only to serve history's most villainous masters. Mole's (Steve Coogan) underground home is knocked in when the field above it is bulldozed by the Weasels; the field was owned by Mr. Toad (Terry Jones), who has sold it to finance his latest fad: caravanning. Mole flees to the river and meets the Water Rat (Eric Idle), who is preparing to embark on a picnic. Seeing Mole's distress, Rat decides to take Mole to see Toad. Toad encourages them to travel with him on the open road, in his newly bought canary-coloured cart. Disaster strikes when a pair of joyriders in a motor car knock over the cart. Rat calms Toad's horse instead of Mole. Toad, however, instantly discards the cart and becomes obsessed with motoring. During the late 19th century, an unidentified Chinese man robs the Bank of England. To evade the police, he becomes the valet for Phileas Fogg, an inventor, taking the pseudonym Passepartout. Phileas, just before Passepartout arrived, had been trying to break the 50-mph speed barrier, and after succeeding with the help of Passepartout, they head to the Royal Academy of Science. During a holiday with his grandmother Helga in Norway, nine-year-old American boy Luke Eveshim is told stories about "real" witches, who are demonic females with a genocidal hatred for children due to emitting a foul odor that only they can smell. In the kingdom of Frell, a baby girl is born to Sir Peter and his wife Lady Eleanor. They name her Ella.
