Rosa and Cornelia (Italian: Rosa e Cornelia) is a 2000 Italian drama film directed by Giorgio Treves. For her performance Stefania Rocca won a Globo d'oro.

Synopsis

En 1748, après une nuit de carnaval à Venise, la jeune comtesse Cornelia (Chiara Muti) est enfermée par ses parents car ceux-ci ont découvert qu'elle était enceinte. Il ne faut surtout pas que le duc de Fontanges à qui Cornelia a été promise en mariage le découvre, sinon le contrat de mariage serait rompu et ce serait une catastrophe sociale et financière. Rosa (Stefania Rocca), une jeune paysanne elle aussi enceinte, est engagée pour aider Piera (Athina Cenci) la vieille nourrice, et pour exécuter le sombre dessein de la famille de Cornelia.

It is spring. In the end she returns to Copenhagen and, after mistakenly thinking that Johan has been unfaithful to her, she faces her fears of commitment and is reunited with Johan.

Tsutako agrees to give Yumi the photo, but only if she can display it at the upcoming school festival and get Sachiko's permission to do so as well. As Sachiko is a member of the Yamayuri Council, which acts as the student council, they head over to the Rose Mansion on campus, the meeting place of the council. Yumi and Tsutako are waiting outside in the hallway while the council is having a meeting when Sachiko bursts out of the room and knocks Yumi and herself down. Sachiko apologizes and is about to leave, but Tsutako shows her the photo and asks her permission to display it. Sachiko takes Yumi back into the meeting room, followed by Tsutako, and tells the other members that she has chosen Yumi to be her petite sœur.
