Samurai Sentai Shinkenger The Movie: The Fateful War (侍戦隊シンケンジャー銀幕版 天下分け目の戦, Samurai Sentai Shinkenjā Ginmakuban Tenkawakeme no Tatakai) is the film adaptation of the 2009 Super Sentai Series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. The film was released in Japanese theaters on August 8, 2009, as a double-bill with the Kamen Rider Decade film Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker. This is the first Japanese movie to be filmed in 3-D. Some of its footage was used in the Power Rangers Samurai team up episode "Clash of the Red Rangers - The Movie".
Synopsis
Taking place in between Shinkenger Acts 22 and 23, the Shinkengers battle the newly revived Kusare Gedoushu Aburame Manpuku and his army for three days. The wounded and tired Shinkengers nearly lose, had the Kusare Gedoushu not needed to regain energy by soaking in the Sanzu River. As their wounds are treated, Jii reveals they he has found the Secret Disk used by the first Shinken Red to seal Manpuku at the Genryu Temple, which lies in the middle of Kusare Gedoushu territory. Using Ryunosuke and Kotoha's plan to sneak in disguised as members of the Nanashi Company, Takeru gets the Founding Secret Disk only to see that it is actually a cryptic message left by the first Shinken Red Shiba Retsudō of obtaining power when facing it. Unable to deipher the riddle, the Shinkengers lose hope until they overhear children praying and decide to face the Kusare Gedoushu without the Disk. The next day, the Shinkengers confront the Kusare Gedoushu once more. The vassals hold off the Kusare Nanashi Company members as Shinken Red battles Manpuku. Elsewhere, not wanting his quarry to die by another's hand, Juzo attempts to join the fray as Genta intervenes and becomes Shinken Gold to fight Juzo. Losing to Manpuku, Shinken Red realizes the meaning behind Retsudō's message as he uses the Secret Disk to break the seal Retsudō placed on Manpuku's body to restore the Disk's full power. This turns it into the Kyoryu Disk and turns Shinken Red into Hyper Shinken Red, and his Shinkenmaru into the Kyoryumaru. With these newfound powers, Hyper Shinken Red single-handedly defeats the Kusare Nanashi before slaying Manpuku. Reviving into giant size, Manpuku opens up into his true form which overpowers Tenku-Shinkenoh until the Kyoryumaru transforms into the Kyoryu Origami and bites off the Kusare Gedoshu's snake head before combining with Shinkenoh to form Kyoryu-Shinkenoh to destroy Manpuku once and for all.Actors

A year after defeating Yogoshimacritein, the Go-ongers head to the wild western realm of Gunman World (ガンマンワールド, Ganman Wārudo) to defeat Gaiark's Pollution President Batcheed (害統領バッチード, Gaitōryō Batchīdo) in a final confrontation. However, after defeating Engine-oh G9, Batcheed opens up a dimensional rift that sucks the Go-ongers and Engines to other Braneworlds. Soon after, while finding themselves fighting Ugatz, the Shinkengers encounter Go-on Red as he helps takes out the Ugatz on his own, much to the Shinkengers' shock. Soon after, the Shinkengers bring Sōsuke and Bomper to the Shiba House, but Takeru and Sōsuke are unable to work together due to their conflicting personalities. Elsewhere, Batcheed arrives onto the Rokumon Junk to make the Gedoushu an offer to hand him their waters to bring to the mortal realm in order to power his Batchrium Plant. With the Ayakashi Homurakogi supporting him, Batcheed then asks for Yogostein, Kitaneidas, and Kegalesia to support him. However, the trio raid the Gold Zushi cart before they tell the president they want nothing to do with his plan. They then ditch Shinken Gold as they retreat into the Sanzu River while he fights the Ugatz before Go-on Red and the other Shinkengers arrive to support him. The battle ends with the vassals getting sucked into a dimensional rift to save Shinken Red and Go-on Red from Batcheed's attack. While Genta and Mako meet the Sutō Siblings in Christmas World, Kotoha and Chiaki are jailed with Renn and Gunpei by DaiGoyou in Samurai World, and Ryunosuke ends up in Junk World alone until he is found by Saki and Hant as they cheer him up.

While running some errands for his fellow Goseigers and Nozomu, Alata finds himself fighting the Nanashi Company and the Ayakashi Madokodama before he receives aid from Shinken Red. However, the fight is witnessed by a mysterious figure as Madokodama falls back. Thinking that Doukoku Chimatsuri has somehow returned, Takeru leaves to recall his vassals while accepting the Goseigers' help. Setting up base in the Amachi Institute against his wishes, Takeru introduces Hikoma Kusakabe to the Goseigers as they learn of the Gedoushu. Ryunosuke Ikenami is the first Shinkenger to arrive before the Gedoushu resume their attack. Using Bibi Soldiers to hold off the two Shinkengers, Madokodama attacks the Goseigers as Shinken Green arrives. However, the leader of the Gedoshu arrives - revealed not to be Doukoku, but Buredoran. Now known as Buredoran of Chimatsuri (血祭のブレドラン, Chimatsuri no Buredoran), Doukoku's heir, he battles Super Shinken Red before unleashing his Bibi Bugs on the samurai and spiriting him away.

Fulfilling their fifteen-year-old childhood dream to venture into space, Geki Jumonji and Touya Okuma join SARD and take a mission to Mars with their childhood friend Itsuki Kawai giving them good luck pendants so she can be with them in spirit. However, the two are labelled MIA when their space shuttle mysteriously disappears. A year later, while remembering her friends, Itsuki finds the SARD complex being attacked by a murderous monster and runs for her life with her pursuer catching up to her. By then, a silver-armored figure named Space Sheriff Gavan appears and battles the monster as he is revealed to be Zan Vard of the Space Mafia Maku. As they fight, Zan Vard holds Itsuki hostage until he is hit by an attack of an unknown origin, allowing Gavan to seemingly finish him off with his Gavan Dynamic and rescue Itsuki, who recognizes him as Geki as he boards the Dolgran without further explanations. Summoned to Planet Bird, it is revealed that Geki has spent the last year training at the Galactic Union and now works as a provisional Space Sheriff in the Gavan-Type G combat suit. Geki is reprimanded by Commander Qom for failing to protect the data that was taken during the fight by Lizard Doubler with the consideration to have Space Sheriffs Sharivan and Shaider, Kai Hyuga and Shu Karasuma, take over. However, Geki convinces Qom to give him another chance and returns to Earth.

A group of vampires look for the hidden resting place of Drake, also known as Dracula—the genetic "father" of their species. Doctors Kazamatsuri and Onizuka are geneticists researching cures on diseases such as AIDS and cancer by performing experiments to strengthen the human body. After fulfilling the praying ceremony, the three oldest children of the alien Fog Mother hunt for an ideal human in order to feed that person to their newly hatched siblings. They find such a person in Kana, the younger sister of environmentalist reporter Kouji Segawa as he was investigating pollution by the lake. Protecting Kana from the villains as they escape from them, Kouji is thrown over a cliff by the reptilian Agito and dies as Kana is taken by the insectoid Zu. However, Kouji is then resurrected by the Earth Spirits to become Kamen Rider J, in order to fight the Fog Mother with the Earth Spirits' emissary Berry as his guide. With Fog Mother sensing Kouji's presence, Agito attempts to finish the job in his true form, only to be killed by J. Then Kouji enters the Fog Mother's domain and faces Zu as she assumes her true form. J manages to kill Zu as they both crash into the fortress which is Fog Mother. After Zu dies, Kouji learns of Fog's intention of letting her new brood devour humanity, as Garai completes the ritual and sends Kana to the hatching chamber while manhandling Kouji. Berry intervenes to free Kana from Fog's spell before being struck down by Garai, as Kana is sent down to her death, while Fog Mother begins attacking a nearby city to prepare for her children's awakening. J fights Garai in his true form, Cobra Man, in a heated battle. After killing Garai, J is digested by Fog Mother as he attempts to save Kana. However, absorbing the life energy around him, J kills Fog's newly born offspring and escapes Fog Mother's bowels and assumes Jumbo Formation. After ripping Kana out of Fog Mother, J battles the monster and kills her as she attempts to take him down with her. After escaping Fog Mother's destruction, Kouji takes Kana to a serene environment, with Berry watching from a distance.

Set two years after Tiga's final battle, Daigo is approached by a mysterious woman, Kamila, who possessed a dark version of the Spark Lens. It is then revealed that more than 30,000,000 years ago, Tiga was originally evil in nature, part of a group of four that dominated Earth. The group consisted of Dark Tiga, the telepathic Kamila (gold patterns on silver skin), the powerful Dahram (red patterns on silver) and the speedy Hyudra (purple patterns on silver). One day, Tiga fell in love with a local human woman, and decided to convert from darkness to protect her from harm. Being the weakest of the four, Tiga quickly became a target of the group. However, unbeknownst to the group, the original "talentless" Dark Tiga possessed the ability to absorb powers from fallen enemies. As he eliminated each of the three dark members and sealed them away, he absorbed their powers which explains new Tiga's color patterns (purple, red and gold lined with his original silver). Convinced by his ability to convert the last known Spark Lens to good, Daigo accepts the gift and becomes Tiga once again, survives his inner struggles and vanishes the darkness within. Soon after this, he marries Rena Yanase, fellow GUTS member and longtime love interest.(Shin Asuka, Dyna's eventual human host, also makes a cameo during the finale as a junior crew member, in a symbolic passing of the torch moment.

The Power Rangers: Rocky DeSantos, Adam Park, Billy Cranston, Aisha Campbell, Kimberly Hart, and Tommy Oliver, participate with Bulk and Skull in a charity sky dive for the Angel Grove observatory, in anticipation of Ryan's Comet which will pass by in two days. Having waited too long, Bulk and Skull accidentally land in a construction site. They avoid getting into trouble before a giant egg is unearthed from a chamber underground. The evil energy alerts Zordon, an interdimensional wizard and the Rangers' mentor, who warns them of Ivan Ooze: a morphological being bent on the conquest of Earth. Zordon sends the Rangers to return the egg to its chamber, unaware that Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa have already freed Ivan Ooze and ordered him to destroy Zordon. Ivan leaves the Rangers to face his Oozelings while he lays siege to their Command Center and incapacitates Zordon. Meanwhile, the Rangers morph and dispatch the Oozelings before suddenly losing their powers. Making their way to the Command Center, they find it destroyed and Zordon outside of his time warp, now dying from rapid aging.
