Synopsis
Nami Matsushima est une jeune docteur dans un hôpital, qui reconnaît en l'un de ses patients l'homme qui a enlevé sa sœur cadette il y a des années. La fillette étant ensuite été retrouvée morte malgré le paiement de la rançon, ce qui entraîna de plus le suicide du père. Apprenant que la prescription est passée et qu'elle ne pourra rien faire du point de vue légal, Nami poignarde sauvagement l'homme qui lui avoue ne pas être le vrai commanditaire du kidnapping. Condamnée à la prison, elle fait la connaissance de Sayuri, injustement accusée d'un meurtre commis par un haut fonctionnaire. Quand cette dernière est emmenée à la peine capitale, Nami décide de s'évader pour se venger et venger Sayuri.Actors

A quiet girl, Madeleine (Christina Lindberg), is sexually assaulted during her childhood, and the trauma makes her mute. One day when she is older she accepts a ride from a man, Tony (Heinz Hopf), who makes her a heroin addict, and then becomes her pimp. To hide the fact that she was kidnapped, the Pimp writes hateful letters to the parents who become so distraught they commit suicide. At one point, she is stabbed in the eye for refusing a client. Madeleine then begins saving money to purchase a car to escape and take lessons in driving, shooting, and martial arts in order to take revenge.

Corky (Gina Gershon), an ex-con who has just finished a five-year jail sentence, arrives at an apartment building to start work as a painter and plumber. On her way up to the apartment, she encounters the couple who live next-door, Violet (Jennifer Tilly) and Caesar (Joe Pantoliano). After Caesar has gone out, Violet flirts with Corky and asks her to help retrieve an earring that has fallen down her sink. After Corky extracts the earring, Violet admits she lost it on purpose in order to get closer to Corky, and starts to seduce her. Francesca "Frankie" Sutton is a Los Angeles bank teller who witnesses a robbery. Shortly after the incident, the bank fires Frankie after the police uncover a connection between her and Darnell, one of the three robbers; despite the fact that Frankie knew nothing of the robbery Darnell had planned. Later, Frankie reunites with her three best friends, Lida "Stoney" Newsome, Cleopatra "Cleo" Sims, and Tisean "T.T." Williams in the projects and is furious because she was fired. Cleo states they should rob a bank themselves to collect all of the money and get out of the projects while being able to have what they want. Frankie agrees, while the other two friends aren't following along with what they are saying. Eventually, Frankie decides to work at a janitorial company with her friends even though they are treated with no respect from their boss, Luther, and receive little pay.
