Selva Magal (English: Wealthy Daughter) is a 1967 black-and-white Tamil action and romantic film was directed by K. S. Srinivas and produced by T. S. Rajasundaresan. Though the dialog was written by Subbu Arumugam and story written by Rajasri. Music by M. S. Viswanathan assets to the movie. Starring Jaishankar , Rajasree , Sreekanth Nagesh and Major Sundararajan was played lead role in protagonist. The story was surrounding to the Robbery gangs.
Synopsis
After a string of robberies Balaram(Major Sundararajan) fleas the country abounding his wife Parvathi(Pandari Bai) and son. Cruel circumstance seperat month and child lebbing the young boy under the care of goodness who name as Sekhar(Jaishankar) and raise him to well educated gentlemen. Sekhar falls in love with Saratha(Rajasree) who is the only daughter of wealthy banker, Ranganathan(V. S. Raghavan). Meanwhile Balaram return to the country and with the help of his step son Mohan(Sreekanth) runs a shady business under the alias, Balasundaram. He targets Ranganathan and plots to claim him, while Mohan sets his eyes on Saradha. Soon, a deadly games of deception is set in motion where everyone is left to confront their past.Actors

A middle-class joint family is living happily run by the responsible father Ethiraj, a retired headmaster. He has three sons – Maheshwaran, Raman, and Krishnan. Maheswaran is a Hindi professor, married to Parvathi and they have 5 children. Raman, a clerk in high-court is married to Sita and they have two children. Krishnan, a medical representative is married to Rukmani. Apart from them, Sumathi, the younger sister of Sita also stays in the same house, as she is pursuing higher studies in the same city. Though it’s a joint family, the father has set up his three sons in three different portions in the same house, and takes turns to eat in each of his son’s house, to avoid any possibility of problems between them. The sons give their salaries to their father, and all the financial matters are dealt by him efficiently. He is respected and feared by everyone in the family. Wrong-doers in the house-hold are made to stand on a bench by him as punishment.

Ramalingam is an honest, principled man, working as a clerk in a company. He values integrity and discipline as the doctrines of daily life. But his honesty is put to test when his son-in-law Raghu comes to him with a big problem. Raghu has misplaced some money in the bank in which he works, and he requests Ramalingam to give him money so that he could make good the loss.
