Synopsis
This army satire follows a small group of Greek soldiers in the island of Kos, when they are assigned to spend a few days guarding a small rock island named Pitta to defend an alleged invasion from Turkish troops. After their arrival in Pitta, everything looked normal until a Turkish boat (sent there for a modeling photo shooting) disembarked 4 castaways on Pitta. Amongst the models was the niece of a Turkish Admiral, which made things more complicated when the Turkish authorities started looking for them. The protagonists did not know what to do since a diplomatic episode could be inevitable. The outcome is the involvement of both countries in the incident resulting in several comic situations.Actors

The film tells the story of a group of soldiers, who, during their compulsory military service in 1967 and 1968, before and during the Greek Junta, are assigned to the, then, recently founded Armed Forces Television. This TV station, founded for the civilian population, was run by the Army Cinematographic Unit which until then had only produced propaganda films and newsreels and was responsible for entertaining the troops and other charity organizations with movie screenings. The personnel was composed mostly of soldiers, who already had experience in the film business in their civilian lives, as well as those who received their training in the army.

Michalis Karamanos, petit génie de l'informatique, est employé de l'OTE. Cependant, il a des difficultés à y trouver sa place. En effet, membre d'un groupe révolutionnaire, Lutte Constitutionnelle, il refuse la société de son temps. Il relie l'ordinateur du président de l'OTE à une bombe, menaçant de détruire tout l'immeuble et ainsi toutes les télécommunications du pays. Il exige le droit de faire passer sur toutes les télévisions et radios le message de dix minutes de son groupuscule politique, au milieu de la finale de la coupe du monde de football que joue l'équipe grecque. Le message est destiné à dénoncer la politique gouvernementale, contrôlant chaque individu. Les autorités qui ne croient pas au sérieux de cette revendication mais plutôt à un coup de folie, essayent de négocier avec lui par l'intermédiaire de ses anciens camarades de régiment, soupçonnés eux aussi d'être membres de Lutte Constitutionnelle. Ils s'entretiennent avec lui les uns après les autres.

Un aspirant écrivain et enseignant sans emploi, Alexandros Kontos (Renos Haralambidis), accepte de « relire » l'autobiographie d'une chanteuse populaire, Calypso. Celle-ci est aussi l'épouse de Sotiris Mandrakas le richissime patron de la chaîne de télévision Hellas ΤV. Alexandros dispose d'une grande quantité de documents, dont une bonne partie très confidentielle, pour écrire l'autobiographie de la vedette : cassettes, vidéos, journaux, photos, poèmes, etc. Cependant, il se fait voler l'intégralité des documents et se retrouve très vite au cœur d'une machination qui le dépasse. Alexandros finit même par se retrouver accusé du kidnapping de Myrto, la fille de Calypso et belle fille de Mandrakas. Les médias se font le relais de la culpabilité d'Alexandros qui finit par être arrêté. Lorsque le juge chargé d'instruire l'affaire meurt, Alexandros est soupçonné de meurtre. Il s'avère que c'est Calypso qui a fait enlever Myrto car elle avait une liaison avec son beau-père. Ce dernier était au courant, mais a profité de l'affaire pour booster l'audience de sa chaîne. Quant à la mort du juge, ami de Mandrakas, c'est un suicide.

Deux petits escrocs ont envie de se retirer après un grand coup. Bomber est fort, fidèle et bienveillant tandis que Paganini est sournois et souvent un type malveillant et méchant. The story of the film revolves around two brothers Mixalis and Nodas who run a funeral office constantly making plans about how to make a lot of money. The police prepares to trap the Drug Lord of Naples. The plan fails and Rizzo (Bud Spencer) decides to interrogate him for the last time, but when he arrives the Drug Lord has been murdered. Rizzo is accused of the murder and decides to investigate the arrival of an Italo-American mafia man, Frank Barella (Al Lettieri). The information given by Barella and Ferramenti (Dominic Barto) makes Rizzo believe that there is a rat in the police department, and, therefore, he must go to the Far East to find out who he is.
