Based on Gordon Korman's novel of the same name, the movie tells the story of Griffin (Noah Crawford), a boy who retrieves his friend's valuable baseball card from an unscrupulous collectibles dealer with the help of his friends. Sneak peeks promoting the film aired on Nickelodeon during three Sam & Cat episodes. The film premiered August 5, 2013 to an audience of over 4.2 million viewers. The film was released on DVD on March 19, 2014.
Synopsis
Griffin "The Brains" Bing (Noah Crawford) is a teenage boy known for helping out his friends in times of need. His friend, Ben "The Best Friend" Dupree (Chris O'Neal), and his family are in the danger of losing their home. The boys find a Honus Wagner baseball card inside Ben's house. Without realizing its actual worth, they decide to sell it to Paul Swindell (Fred Ewanuick), a collector, who agrees to buy the card for $350.00. The next morning, Griffin and Ben discover that Swindell has claimed to have found the card himself and plans to sell it for $1.2 million. The two meet Swindell, who refuses to return the card. Griffin forms a team in order to perform a challenging heist. Besides Griffin and Ben, the team consists of Amanda "The Gymnast" Benson (Ariana Grande), Savannah "The Actress" Westcott (Jennette McCurdy), and Darren "The Muscle" Vader (Noah Munck). Griffin's younger sister Melissa attempts to join the team but Griffin rejects her. Together the team attempts to sneak into Swindell's shop. Griffin finds the card but is worried that they would be potential suspects in an investigation of the card. After Melissa saves the team from being caught by hacking into the shop's alarm system, they let her join the team and dub her "The Hacker." Griffin then plans to have Swindell hand over the card to them. Subsequently, Anton Lefevre, a wealthy businessman, invites Swindell to auction off the card to him.Actors

The film starts after the intro of the cast and crew when Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan are on their plane ride to London, their first stop for their tour. It is also so happens that Gustavo, Kelly, Katie, and Mrs. Knight come with them aboard on the ride. Still on the plane for a long time, Carlos meanwhile has a dream about Big Time Rush being secret spy agents, saving the world from a white-coloured suit tuxedo guy, and also including rescuing a Princess from a Castle and a lot more things that Carlos dreams about. Carlos ends up waking up and explaining to Kendall, James, and Logan about his spy dream, and the boys don't seem to believe in the dream.

In 1914, Tommy Murphy (Burkely Duffield) is overjoyed when Caitlin O'Leary (Andrea Brooks) agrees to dance with him in the town festival despite all rumors that she is a witch. As part of a deal Griffin made with Big Time Rush, they get to use his beach house in Malibu for a day when they get a gold record in any country, as they do. The boys invite almost everyone from the Palm Woods to the beach including Camille, Guitar Dude, the Jennifers and Buddha Bob as well as Jo who can't make it, because of some extra scenes she has to film for her series. Also Mrs. Knight goes after the boys with Katie when she figures out they didn't put sunblock on like she told them, while Gustavo and Kelly plan to destroy Big Time Rush's beach day since Gustavo's previous bands have become overly laid back by their life in beach and their career went downhill.

Quincy Johnson (Jerry Trainor) is a barely unemployed adult gamer who lives at home with his parents. Quincy plays video games under the username "Q", and is renowned in the gaming community for his many awards and world records. Wendell picks Quincy up in an ice cream truck, and finds out that Prodigy lives nearby. They seek a plan to beat Prodigy while together.
