It stars Denise "Vanity" Matthews as a young woman caught up in a love-triangle with her aggressive boyfriend and a wild ape-man on an imaginary tropical island. Vanity made this film using the alias "D.D. Winters." The ape-suit was created by Rick Baker and Rob Bottin, with special effects contributions from Steve Johnson.
Synopsis
Tanya (Vanity) is a female model who lives with her boyfriend Lobo (Richard Sargent), a surrealist painter who is extremely violent. Subjected to Lobo's constant abuse, Tanya dreams of escaping to a desert island, and her dream comes true. The only other being on her island is an enormous blue-eyed man-ape (played by Don McLeod and voiced by Donny Burns) who was born from one of Lobo's paintings. Tanya befriends the beast and nicknames him "Blue." Soon she begins to feels a strange attraction to the creature, which makes Lobo increasingly jealous in the real world. He becomes determined to capture the man-ape and put it in a cage.Actors

The film is set in Paterson, New Jersey in the early 1960s. Catherine Spages (Linda Miller) is visiting Father Tom (Rudolph Willrich) with her two daughters, who both attend St. Michael's Parish Girls' School: 9-year-old Karen (Brooke Shields) and 12-year-old Alice (Paula Sheppard). Karen is preparing for her First Communion and Father Tom gives her his mother's crucifix as a gift. A jealous Alice puts on a creepy, translucent grinning mask, frightening Mrs. Tredoni (Mildred Clinton), Father Tom's housekeeper. Later, Alice steals Karen's porcelain doll and lures her into an abandoned building with it. She jumps out and scares Karen with the grinning mask and locks her in a room. When she lets her out she tells her that if anyone finds out, she'll never see the doll again.

Set in New York City, the movie follows a martial artist named Leroy Green (A.K.A. "Bruce Leroy"), who has dreams of becoming a great martial artist like his idol Bruce Lee. In the 2050s, extensive ecological damage has resulted in largely lawless areas that are controlled by mutant raiders.
