The film was one of Van Doren's final film roles as her career, that went well and strong in the 1950s, and began to fade when the decade of the 1960s came along. Van Doren's character doesn't even have a name, she's simply billed as: "Girlfriend". Today the movie is confused with The Arizona Kid a 1939 film of the same name, that starred Roy Rogers.

L'homme à tout faire du ranch Warren, Peter, fait la cour à la fille de ce dernier, Dorothy, mais son père lui inflige une flagellation avant de le chasser de sa terre. Kelly Cobb travels and performs in various country rodeos in order to get enough money to buy a patch of land to call his own. James Iglehart plays African-American prize fighter Cal Jefferson who is on a honeymoon holiday in Hong Kong with his new wife played by Shirley Washington. Cal comes across a drowning Chinese man whom he jumps in the sea to save. This now revived and very grateful mute man turns out to be someone they cannot get rid of. They finally get rid of him or so it seems. They purchase an item in Hong Kong which becomes the center of a gang's attention. The gang led by Kenneth Metcalfe will stop at nothing to retrieve the item. They leave Hong Kong for Manila, the Philippines and find themselves being attacked with the mute Chinese man coming to their assistance.

Au Mexique, Ringo et Frank font du trafic d'armes. Mais suite à une bagarre, ils décident de se séparer. Quelques années plus tard, Ringo a renoncé à sa vie aventureuse, s'est marié puis est devenu le shérif de Stone City. Lorsque la ville voisine est ravagée par une bande de voyous, Ringo s'y rend pour y mettre de l'ordre mais est gravement blessé à la tête lors d'une attaque, ce qui le rend partiellement aveugle. Il est ramené chez lui par le chef de la bande qui n'est autre que Frank. Ce dernier est nommé nouveau shérif par Daniels, un banquier véreux, ancien rival dans le trafic. Daniels tue la mère de Ringo et kidnappe la femme et le fils de celui-ci. Recouvrant la vue, Ringo fait semblant d'être aveugle pour assouvir sa vengeance.
