Synopsis
Le film débute comme une enquête sur la censure exercée en Italie par l’Église catholique et la Démocratie chrétienne entre la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et le début des années soixante, date à laquelle sortent Rocco et ses frères de Visconti et La dolce vita de Fellini, qui sont parmi les premiers films à battre en brèche les règles de la morale et les tabous sexuels en vigueur à l’époque.Comments

Every ten years for the last forty years, a woman's body is discovered in the woods outside of Black Water, drained of blood and bearing mysterious bite marks. Raymond Banks (Bill Oberst Jr.) has been convicted of the crime, but Black Water resident Danielle (Danielle Lozeau) doesn't believe that he's the murderer. Hoping to prove his innocence and thus get Raymond off of death row, Danielle convinces her friends Andrea (Andrea Monier) and Rob (Robin Steffen) to venture out into the woods to search for evidence. They hire Anthony (Anthony Fanelli) to film their search, which quickly turns bizarre when they begin to hear stories about supernatural creatures. Despite Rob's misgivings, the group begins a three day hike to see where one of the bodies was discovered, only to get lost in the process. As they try to make their way through the woods, the group finds that someone- or something- is following them.

In the film's first portion, filmed in B&W, Dr. Sergio, a psychiatrist, appears on a television program on a panel with three other contemporary psychiatrists after he claims to have conducted experiments on four volunteer drug addicts with LSD in order to investigate his claim that sexual perversion is caused by use of illegal drugs. As evidence, he presents a series of documented accounts of drug use which lead to lewd and bizarre sexual acts. Marins appears (as himself) on the panel with the psychiatrists as some type of expert on the subject of depravity. During the program, Dr. Sergio recounts the experiment to his colleagues on the panel, who reject his claims.
