Add to a movie listYıkılmayan Adam (The Indestructible Man) is a Turkish political film by director Remzi Aydın Jöntürk, is the final film of his "Adam Trilogy". It comes after Yarınsız Adam (Man Without Tomorrow) of 1976 and Satılmış Adam (The Sold Man) of 1977. Cüneyt Arkın plays the leading role. The film tells the story of the class struggles in Turkey in the late 1970s with a powerful style.
It is memorable for several scenes. The first is the "Bar Scene" where Çakır, portrayed by Cüneyt Arkın, gets angry at the youth in the bar because they are humiliating a veteran soldier. The second scene is the ending where everybody betrays Çakır and point their guns at him. While walking in front of the crowd, Çakır is killed but never falls to the ground-a symbol of the masses that won't surrender even in the case of death. Remzi Aydın Jöntürk, in fact, used a real labor strike gathering organized by the Revolutionary Labor Union (DISK) as the scene for this final scene displaying some of the banners of the left-wing trade union movement, DISK. This particular scene later led him to be charged by the Military Court on grounds of "Promoting Communism".

Arturo (Phillip Salvador) also known as Turing together with his wife Luz Manalastas (Gina Alajar) works in a printing press. Turing was later forced to ask for a raise from his boss after his wife became pregnant. Turing's boss aksed him to sign a waiver that he is not a member of any labor union. Shortly, his friends invited him to be part of a labor union that they are planning to form but Turing has no option but to refuse due to his waiver. Turing was badly treated and was called a traitor after refusing to join. The printing press later closed and Luz is unable to get discharged from the hospital where she is confined due to pending fees. Turing needs money to pay the hospital bill so Luz can finally get out from the hospital and turns into crime to acquire the money he needs.

The time is the early-to-mid-1960s, the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. An unknown aircraft approaches North America from Europe. American bombers of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) are scrambled to their fail safe points near Russia. The bombers have orders not to proceed past their fail safe points without receiving a special attack code. The original "threat" is proven to be innocuous and recall orders are issued. However, due to a technical failure, the attack code is transmitted to Group Six, which consists of six Vindicator supersonic bombers and four escort fighters. Colonel Grady, the head of the group, tries to contact Omaha to verify the fail-safe order (called Positive Check), but due to Soviet radar jamming, Grady cannot hear Omaha. Concluding that the attack order and the radar jamming could only mean nuclear war, Grady commands Group Six towards Moscow, their intended destination.

The film begins with Emil Slovak (Karel Roden) and Oleg Razgul (Oleg Taktarov) arriving in America. They were former criminals and after getting out of prison have come to the U.S. to claim their part of a bank heist in Russia (or somewhere in Czech Republic). Within minutes of arriving, Oleg steals a video camera. They go to the run down apartment of their old partner and demand their share. He doesn't have it so Emil stabs him and his wife to death, as Oleg tapes it with the camera. The couple's friend, Czech immigrant Daphne Handlova (Vera Farmiga), covertly witnesses the murders from the bathroom, but she escapes before they can get her too. To hide the crime, Emil burns down the apartment.
