The film begins in 1978 in Łódź when a young boy Szymon accidentally causes a deadly car crash while playing pranks with his friends. The scene then jumps forward 22 yers, when Szymon, now portrayed by Bartosz Opania becomes friendly with Mimi, played by Preis. Mimi's parents had been killed in the car crash 22 years earlier and Mimi herself had survived the crash. The relationship forces Mimi to face the issues from her past and her attitude to her own daughter, while Szymon attempts to relieve the guilt he feels by watching over and trying to protect Mimi.

The film is set in 1967 to 1968. The attractive Kamila Sakowicz (Magdalena Boczarska) and Roman Rożek (Robert Więckiewicz) are lovers. At first Kamila does not know that Roman is an officer in the Polish secret State Security. After some time, he invites her into his apartment. After several nights of passion Roman asks Kamila for a favor. The film's events take place over several days and they are set in the present time in a large Polish city. The main character is a bandit, a Polish dres (a Polish chav) called "Strong" (Borys Szyc), who does not work or study, and who frequently gets into conflict with the law and is in love with Magda (Roma Gąsiorowska). The relationship is not going well. "Strong" is insanely jealous of Magda, but he does not avoid sexual contact with other women. Magda is a blonde keen on going to the solarium, obsessed with her alleged overweight and appreciating good cosmetics. She loves "Strong" and hates him at the same time, deceives and manipulates him. She uses the opportunity to have a good time and looking for a rich guy with who she could leave "to the better countries". Both of them take drugs. Their relationship resembles a continuous scuffle.
