Allan Corey, un jeune écrivain à court d'idées, rencontre Mike alors que celui-ci se bat avec un homme qui maltraitait son cheval, et lui propose de l'accompagner dans l'Ouest. As described in a film publication, to avenge his father's death Pierre Winton (Carey) turns outlaw and joins a band of bandits headed by Jim Boone (MacDonald). McGuirk (McKim), a lone bandit, is the object of his search and war is declared between the lone rider and Boone's band. Pierre goes to a masquerade ball one night and returns to find every member of Boone's band dead except for Jim's daughter Jackie (Burnham). Pierre gets on his horse to ride his enemy down to earth and see that vengeance is executed.

Réformé parce qu'il est trop petit, le couturier français André Leriche décide de dessiner une robe qui aidera son pays. Le vêtement pousse Neil Cunningham, un Anglais, à retourner dans son pays pour s'engager dans l'armée pour gagner l'amour de Natalie. En France, Neil devient un héros et, lors d'une attaque contre les Allemands, sauve le père d'André, le maire de la ville.
