The Palace also known as Palace: Lock Sinensis is a 2013 Chinese historical romance film. This film was directed by Pan Anzi and written by Yu Zheng, and starring Zhou Dongyu, Chen Xiao and Zanilia Zhao.

Synopsis

Deux domestiques du palais jouent à un jeu amoureux dangereux, mais une seule s'emparera du cœur d'un prince. Durant le règne de l'empereur Kang Xi de la dynastie Qing, Chen Xiang (Zhou Dong Yu) est une domestique qui commence à travailler au palais. Elle y rencontre une autre domestique, Liu Li (Zhao Li Ying), et elles deviennent vite meilleures amies. Liu Li a pour ambition de devenir la femme ou la concubine d'un prince. Liu Li envoie Cheng Xiang à sa place pour accomplir une tâche. Cheng Xiang rencontre le 13e Prince Yin Xiang (Chen Xiao) durant sa tâche, et ils tombent amoureux. Lorsque le 13e Prince part à la recherche de Cheng Xiang, dont le visage était couvert par un mouchoir, Liu Li fait savoir que le mouchoir lui appartient, et le 13e Prince croit par erreur que la femme qu'il aime est Liu Li.
