The Potters is a lost 1927 silent film produced by Famous Players-Lasky and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was directed by Fred C. Newmeyer and starred comedian W. C. Fields. It is based on a play by J. P. McElvoy which had a respectable run on Broadway in the 1923-24 season.

Part one A beautiful young woman named Hermia (Olivia de Havilland) is in love with Lysander (Dick Powell) and wishes to marry him. Laurel and Hardy are a hen-pecked pair of Gypsies in 18th-century Austria. She soon elopes with Devilshoof, and leaves Hardy holding the baby.
