Synopsis
1942, zone occupée. Après avoir été démobilisés, Tassin, Pithivier et le sergent-chef Chaudard s'en sont retournés à leur vie d'avant. Chaudard a repris la direction de sa petite quincaillerie provinciale, entre son épouse, Suzanne, et des très (voire trop) régulières visites de son beau-frère Gorgeton (Gérard Jugnot) qu'il ne supporte plus. Il entretient également par intérêt de bonnes relations avec Lambert (André Pousse), le chef de la milice locale qui lutte contre les forces judéo-maçonniques et recherche le commandant Gilles, l'un des chefs de la Résistance locale. Alors que Chaudard doit recevoir la visite de Tassin et Pithivier, venus passer quelques jours de vacances pour évoquer le bon vieux temps de la 7e compagnie, il est loin de se douter que son beau-frère cache avec la complicité de Suzanne le commandant Gilles dans son cellier.Actors

La suite des aventures du trio de la septième compagnie lors de la Débâcle de juin 1940 : Tassin, Chaudard et Pithivier échappent aux Allemands et sont recueillis en caleçon par la mère Crouzy qui leur fournit des uniformes d'officiers français abandonnés par leurs détenteurs pendant la débâcle. Nos trois héros se font arrêter à nouveau et sont conduits dans un château où une grande partie de l'état-major français est détenue. Les trois bidasses, devenus officiers malgré eux, sont sur le point de faire évader tous ces officiers quand, malencontreusement, alors qu'ils referment la porte derrière eux à la sortie des souterrains, le sol de la forêt s'écroule avec des arbres et bloque la sortie, obligeant les officiers à rebrousser chemin dans les galeries communicant avec le château. Quant aux trois soldats, ils se retrouvent enfin libres. S'ensuit une petite série d'évasions à chaque fois sous l'œil médusé de leur supérieur le capitaine Dumont (Pierre Tornade) qui ne comprend pas comment font ces trois tocards pour s'évader.

During the Battle of France, while the German forces are rapidly spreading across the country, the 7th Transmission Company suffers an air raid near the Machecoul wood, but survive and hide in the wood. Captain Dumont, the company commander, sends three of his men—Louis Chaudard, Pithiviers and Tassin—to scout the area. After burying the radio cable beneath a sandy road, the little squad crosses the field, climbs a nearby hill, and takes position within a wall-covered area, which happens to be a cemetery. One of the men who was cutting down trees for camouflage hits the wrong tree, pulling up the radio cable from the sandy road and revealing it to the passing German infantry. The Germans cut the cable, surround the woods, and order a puzzled 7th Company to surrender. During that time, Chaudard and his friends, who spotted the Germans, try without success (due to the cut cable) to contact and join their unit. They can only witness their comrades' capture and decide to run away.

Paris, 1941, sous l'Occupation. Clovis est une tête brûlée qui n'hésite pas à afficher son patriotisme, et à frapper en pleine rue les collaborateurs. Voulant se réfugier chez son ancien commandant, il croise la route de Paulo, escroc du marché noir qui vole les appartements pendant les alertes, quand leurs occupants se trouvent dans les abris. Le commandant est un résistant aux ordres d'un général farfelu qui entreprend de s'enfuir en Angleterre par montgolfière. Ce dernier va confier à ses hommes la mission de voler les plans du débarquement prévu par les Allemands en Angleterre, débarquement connu sous le nom d'Opération Lady Marlène. Mais Clovis s'occupant de cette mission, les choses ne se passent pas comme prévu.

Antoine Brisset, comptable, se retrouve au chômage à la suite de la faillite de son patron qui a misé aux courses. Il reprend du travail avec son frère Louis, dans une agence de détectives privés dirigée par Albert Lombard. Ayant à fréquenter un club de ball-trap huppé pour les besoins d'une enquête, une série de malentendus le fait passer pour un industriel spécialisé dans l'import-export et se voit ainsi proposer une affaire : il touchera une commission de cent-vingt millions d'anciens francs s'il parvient à acheminer sous neuf jours trois cents tonnes de malachite verte au port du Havre. Les trois hommes se mettent à la recherche du précieux matériau qui s'avère introuvable. Mais, après des jours de recherche infructueuse, ils apprennent par hasard que cette marchandise est disponible à Barcelone.

Héléna Bourdelle, called "The Bourdelle," is a great singer and wife of maestro André Bourdelle. Joining the Resistance, he is killed by the accidental explosion of a grenade. Following the defeat, the family's mansion is taken over by German forces, leaving the family occupying a few back rooms, complaining to the Kommandantur about his excesses and those of his men. Bourdelle, her daughters and their tenant help by chance an English soldier to escape and are then forced to hide him. The family, whose former caretaker Ramirez has become a Gestapo agent, is favoured by the General Spontz who has a soft spot for Bernadette Bourdelle. He is willing to ignore the fact that Guy-Hubert, son of the family, a seemingly cowardly and effeminate hairdresser, is actually the elusive vigilante known as "Super-Resistant".

The story takes place in March 1944 in a small French village. In 1942, in Paris, which is seized by Germany, a grocer Edmond Batignole (Gérard Jugnot) is living with his family in his grocery building. He has a daughter who is soon to be married. His future son-in-law, Pierre-Jean (Jean-Paul Rouve) and his wife wanted the apartment owned by a Jewish family. When the properties of all the Jews was confiscated the Batignole family got the apartment. The Jewish family was sent to transportation to Germany. After the Batignoles had occupied the apartment the Batignoles organise a party for the SS officials and during that party young Simon Bernstein (Jules Sitruk) of the Jewish family who had escaped from the Germans, returns to his home. Edmond Batignole feels sorry for the boy and hides him in the apartment from his family before anyone else could see him. Soon Simon's cousins meet him in the cellar of the grocery and the grocer plans to smuggle the children over the border to Switzerland.
