Synopsis
Sur une place publique de Constantinople, un bourreau turc coupe les têtes de quatre condamnés à mort, puis les met dans un tonneau. Dans son dos, une tête ressort et va se mettre sur un corps, formant à nouveau un être humain. Toujours dans le dos du bourreau affairé à ses comptes, l'homme de nouveau en vie sort les autres têtes pour les disposer sur les corps inertes de ses camarades d'infortune. Ils attrapent ensuite le bourreau et lui coupent le corps en deux ; les deux parties continuent à se mouvoir, avant de se regrouper. Le bourreau, bientôt suivi par les forces de l'ordre et la population, se met à poursuivre les quatre fuyards.Actors

At an International Congress at an Aero Club, explorers from around the world argue about the best way to fly to the North Pole. All are in disagreement until the congress's president, the engineer Maboul of France, explains his plans for an "Aero-Bus," an airplane with a passenger car and a huge figurehead in the shape of a bird head. The proceedings are interrupted by a group of militant suffragettes, who announce their intention to go to the Pole themselves. When they have been chased off, the Congress nominates an international group of experts to accompany Maboul to the Pole: Run-Ever of England, Bluff-"Allo"-Bill of America, Choukroutman of Germany, Cerveza of Spain, Tching-Tchun of China, and Ka-Ko-Ku of Japan. Maboul takes his colleagues to his office to study the model of his invention, and then to the electricity-powered factory where the real thing is being constructed. The leader of the suffragettes moves on with her own plans to get to the Pole, building a machine fitted with propellers and a multitude of toy balloons, but it fails to get off the ground.

Un magicien transforme un squelette en héroïne antique portant un bouclier, puis en danseuse qu'il met en lévitation. Il lui redonne ensuite son aspect de squelette et le fait danser et danse avec lui/elle et l'efface de l'écran. Il convoque ensuite des objets, tables et chaises, et les fait tourner par la force de la pensée. Un quadrige aussi féminin qu'aérien apparaît, danse, disparaît dans le ciel. Le magicien resté seul voit ses habits de scène s'envoler, révélant un costume de ville. Il quitte la scène en saluant après avoir allumé une cigarette de la manière la plus mondaine qu'il soit.

The class rushes to an observation tower to witness the event, which features an anthropomorphic Sun and Moon coming together. The Moon and the Sun lick their lips in anticipation as the eclipse arrives, culminating in a romantic encounter between the two celestial bodies. Various heavenly bodies, including planets and moons, hang in the night sky; a meteor shower is depicted using the ghostly figures of girls.
