Three on a Meathook is a 1972 horror film written and directed by William Girdler and was based loosely on the real-life story of Ed Gein. The film stars Charles Kissinger, James Pickett and Sherry Steiner.
Synopsis
When four girls go on a weekend trip to a lake, they start to have car problems on the way home and meet a local young man named Billy Townsend who takes them back to his farm where he lives with his father Frank. Later, Frank begins to murder three of the girls and tries to pin the crimes on his son by convincing him he is responsible for their deaths and is insane.Actors

Former Vietnam vet, amateur body-builder, and talented porno-photographer Kirk Smith is a crazed killer who stalks the streets of Los Angeles, picking up young women, strangling them in lurid fashion, and sexually abusing their dead bodies. Between murders, he carries out twisted religious ceremonies, talks to his dead father, and weeps like a baby. Detective Anna Manni (Argento) travels to Florence on the trail of a serial killer Alfredo (Thomas Kretschmann).
