Ramona chronicles the romance between Ramona, a Spanish orphan from the prestigious Morneo family, and Alessandro, an Indian who appears on her family's ranch one day. They fall deeply in love, yet their desire to wed is denied by Ramona's stepmother, who reacts by exiling Alessandro from her ranch. He returns to his village, only to find that it has been demolished by white men. Meanwhile, Ramona is informed that she also has "Indian blood", which causes her to abandon everything she has to be with her lover, Alessandro. They marry, and live among the wreckage of Alessandro's devastated village. They don't stay long, however, as the white men come back again and again to force them further from their new home. All of this is too much on Alessandro, and he perishes as Ramona is rescued by Felipe and returned to her family back on the ranch., 17minutes

Just before she dies, an elderly married woman stashes the horde of money she's secretly accumulated beneath the false bottom of an old shipping trunk. After her death, her husband, believing himself penniless, has to leave their old home and move in with his son's family, where he's treated with no respect or consideration. Also on the scene is a newly hired kindly young housekeeper (Mary Pickford); she and the old gentleman become close friends and eventually run away together (taking the old shipping trunk with them)., 11minutes

The film's theme of immurement draws inspiration from Balzac's "La Grande Bretêche", and Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado". The king constructs a cozy, windowless love-nest for himself and his concubine. However, she is not faithful to her sovereign, but consorts with the court troubadour. In fact, they use the king's new play chamber for their trysts. When the king discovers this, he sends for his masons. With the faithless duo still inside, the masons use stone and mortar to quietly seal the only door to the vault. The two lovers suffocate and the film ends., 11minutes

A small town's drama group is preparing for a Pocahontas-type play, when one of the member's English relatives suddenly arrives for a visit. This man, unlike the theater group, does not have any sense of humor, which sparks the relative and his friends to play practical jokes on him. They dress up as Indians to scare them, but the Englishman is so convinced, that he grabs his gun to shoot at them. At another moment, they try to get revenge by pretending to attack him, but the plan again backfires when the Englishman uses a prop gun from a heroine to horrify them.
