This film follows a non-linear story line following two primary characters Detective Truck Baker, played by Shaw and Detective Bobby Torino, played by Richard Magram, as they battle the Yakusa who are attempting to bring the drug trade to Los Angeles.
Elemental to all of Scott Shaw's Urban Cinema is his reference to African-American or Blaxploitation Cinema. In this film the lead nemesis, played by Kevin Thompson, is an African-American character named Cyrus. This character is in obvious reference to the antagonist of the 1979 Walter Hill film The Warriors, as the character uses many dialectic references to the character in Hill's film.
This film is considered a "Zen Film" in that it was created in the distinct style of filmmaking formulated by Scott Shaw known as Zen Filmmaking. In this style of filmmaking, no scripts are used.
This film was released in the United Kingdom as Slip Into Oblivion.

This film follows the exploits of two rock stars Nick Cross and Christian, who are played by Scott Shaw and Kenneth H. Kim respectively. The Christian character recruits Nick Cross to reenter the world of Rock n' Roll but he is far too lost in his use of heroin to move forward with the project.
