Venger is a branded film series directed by Marc Furmie. It is seen as a possible re-invention of the BMW film series The Hire. Production on the 15-minute movie began in July 2010 when executive producer Jesse Press arranged a commercial deal with Sydney based Mercedes-Benz dealership G Brothers. Additional finance came from Petronas Lubricants International, the sponsor of the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula One Team. Filming took 7 days at iconic locations across Sydney, majority of which were on the Northern Beaches peninsular. A 4-minute teaser was presented to a crowd of 500 people on the final day of shooting at a celebration for the Australian Film Industry.
Synopsis
Following the murder of his fiancé, racecar driver Anthony McCullough becomes hellbent on revenge. Set loose by a ruthless detective, McCullough begins to follow a trail of clues. As he gets closer to finding the men responsible, he is drawn into a web of secrecy and betrayal that threatens to destroy his entire family.Actors

War Flowers is an American Civil War tale about a woman in North Carolina named Sarabeth Ellis whose husband has been called up for military service by the Confederate States of America. While she and her little daughter Melody suffer with food shortage they are frequently molested by a creepy neighbour. After a skirmish on the family's premises they discover a gravely wounded Union soldier who is using their cellar as hide-out. Together with her daughter Sarabeth decides to nurse him back to health and even hides him when soldiers of the Confederacy check the house. Once the Union soldier has recovered, Sarabeth makes sure he is taken back to the Union troops. But when he returns he is taken for a spy. Sarabeth runs out of food and her house is burned to the ground. Moreover she learns her husband is dead.

When high-flying 27-year-old Melbourne based brand manager Ben (Josh Lawson) returns to his old high school to talk to students about careers, he reunites with other former students including international human rights lawyer Alexis (Rachael Taylor), now working with the United Nations in Yemen, and Olympic archery medallist Jim (Ed Kavalee). Ben soon realises that compared to the other speakers, no one is interested in what a brand manager does, and when questions are asked for, all are directed at the other presenters while Ben gets none. This causes Ben to begin to consider the meaning behind his current lifestyle, and commences a year-long reevaluation of his priorities, looking in all the wrong places, but ultimately involving the gradual pursuance of Alex as a serious love-interest for the first time in his life.
