The film tells the story of a young man Tega Richard Mofe Damijo from a wealthy background who falls in love with a woman Peggy (Ego Boyo) from a poor background.After so much pressure from his mother Joke Silva who wanted him to marry a girl with a better class,they eventually got married. However, their marriage was put to the test when hidden secrets unfolds When his ex-wife re-appeared in his life and also when he learnt about his ex-boss relationship with his wife in her younger age. The story is filled with suspense, intriguing and a lot of drama.It is regarded as a classic Nollywood film and rated among the best 20 movies of Nollywood that Will Never forgotten
Filmed in Lagos, commercial capital of Nigeria and capital of the oil rich Delta state under the production of Crystal Gold productions and so many prolific casts such as Mildren Iweka, Kunle Bamtefa, Taiwo Obileye, Wale Macaulay. Many Nollywood movies that came after this master class used it as a guild to set a new standard for film making in Nigeria.At the time the film came out, Nigerians were still very much into Hollywood but Violated began to change the mind set of Nigerians and it was accepted in many house holds. Even though most of the actors were known but their popularity blew up and most were elevated to the next level such RMD and Joke Silva. This was a very successful film that lead to another sequence.Part of the film was actually shot in the home of Nigerian Industrious Business man Sony Odogwu.

Mary (Nse Ikpe Etim) is a fashion designer who works for an stringent boss, Alexis, who often takes credit for her designs. Mary is called on the phone by her father in the village about a marital problem involving her sister and her husband. Mary must return to the village as the family will discuss the problem and it is only Mary to which her sister listens. Alexis will not give Mary permission to leave work although Mary insists that she can complete the clothing while away. Alexis is not persuaded. Mary finds out that her boyfriend is married and she breaks up with him. Alexis takes pity on Mary and allows her to take time off from work in order to sort out her problems. Alexis books a flight ticket for Mary so that the dust and dirt of regular ground travel will not mar the clothing that Mary is given permission to take with her while away during that busy time of work.

Georgia O'Keeffe (Joan Allen) is a young painter in the 1910s, while Alfred Stieglitz (Jeremy Irons) is New York-based photographer and art impresario, who discovers her works.
