The film won the Rogers Best Canadian Film Award at the 2013 Toronto Film Critics Association Awards, over The Dirties and Gabrielle and was named Best Feature Length Documentary at the Canadian Screen Awards.

Watermark est un documentaire qui nous entraîne aux quatre coins du monde afin d’explorer notre relation avec la ressource la plus importante de la planète : l’eau. À travers différentes histoires et de multiples paysages somptueux, le documentaire évoque de manière inédite l’empreinte de l’eau sur la planète.
