What Gets Me Hot! (1984)

What Gets Me Hot! is the title of a 1984 pornographic movie which featured Bunny Bleu, Susan Hart, Dorothy Onan, Marc Wallice, Sean Alexander, Tom Byron, Greg Rome, Herschel Savage (aka Hershel Savage), Maria Kay, Helga Sven, Leslie Thane and Traci Lords. It was written and directed by the Hungarian-born Richard Mailer.

The starring role was credited to Traci Lords, billed as Tracy Lords, who had her first on-camera sex act in this film. Lords wrote in her 2003 autobiography Underneath It All of an unplanned encounter with Tom Byron in the mansion's kitchen, as the nearby crew took the opportunity to film it. If this was true, then it would technically have been her first on-camera sex scene, although it was never in the movie. (Lords was later accused of being self-seeking, and the reliability of Underneath It All subsequently came into serious question.) She was 16 years old at the time of filming, making it child pornography under United States law. The makers of this film were then unaware of her actual age, about which she had lied. This film was removed from the market in 1986, along with all others Lords made prior to her 18th birthday, when Lords's real age was revealed. It is legally available in some jurisdictions outside the United States.

Synopsis

Lannie Waters (Traci Lords) wakes after dreaming about nude women floating in space. She wonders aloud about her sexuality and inexperience. Her mother (Helga Sven) brings up boys and tells her about a new man, Mr. Kennedy(Don Hodge), whom she believes likes Lannie, but who is too shy to say anything.
