Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) is frustrated: she is in her early thirties, single, very accident-prone and worried about her weight. She works in publicity at a book publishing company in London where her main focus is fantasizing about her boss, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant). At a New Year party hosted by her parents, she re-meets Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), the barrister son of her parents' friends. They had known each other as children. After their initial encounter, Mark thinks that Bridget is a fool and vulgar and Bridget thinks that he is arrogant and rude, and is disgusted by his novelty Christmas jumper. After overhearing Mark grumble to his mother about her attempts to set him up with Bridget "A verbally incontinent spinster who smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish and dresses like her mother", she decides to turn her life around. She starts her own diary, which covers all her attempts to stop smoking, lose weight and find her Mr.

As she tries to convince Hillary to stay, we learn about various other groupings of individuals who are all on their way.

Assistant à une fête du nouvel an dans un immeuble désaffecté, un groupe de personnes qui ne se connaissent pas reçoivent chacun un texto les invitant à une autre fête se déroulant plusieurs étages plus bas. Mais les choses ne se passent pas comme prévu : Louis sait que son ex-femme habite une tour dans une résidence, mais ignore son adresse exacte. En arrivant, il rencontre par hasard un convive, Thierry, et sa maîtresse Florence. Tous trois se perdent dans l'immense résidence et font une série de rencontres surprenantes.
Depuis un moment, la jeune Masha est assaillie par des visions de féroces monstres volants. Sa mère s'inquiète : elle est convaincue que la jeune fille est victime de harcèlement scolaire. Mais un jour, en plein coeur de Moscou, Masha assiste à une bataille entre des monstres ailés cracheurs de feu et de jeunes gens qui se désignent comme magiciens. L'un d'entre eux parvient in extremis à sauver la jeune fille d'une attaque de chimère. Masha les suit et intègre une organisation secrète, au sein de laquelle elle apprend que le Père Noël existe et qu'il est à la tête d'une armée de magicien, qui, en contrôlant la neige et la glace, parviennent à repousser une invasion de forces démoniaques.
