Daisy Mae Duke was born on the 1st of March 1954, Daisy is a fictional character, played by Catherine Bach, from the American television series The Dukes of Hazzard. She is the cousin of Bo and Luke, the main protagonists of the show, and the three live on a farm on the outskirts of Hazzard County with their Uncle Jesse.Although never mentioned in the series itself, some press material for the show suggests that Daisy's parents, along with Bo and Luke's, were killed in a car accident. However, in the 1997 reunion movie, Daisy says her mother died when she was a baby.
Daisy frequently becomes involved in the Dukes' car chases, originally in her Plymouth Road Runner or, from the mid-second season onwards and more famously, in her Jeep. Daisy also works as a waitress at the Boar's Nest, the local pub owned by Boss Hogg that was the main meeting place in Hazzard. She also aspires to be both a singer-songwriter and a journalist.

Daisy Duke vit dans une zone non incorporée du Comté de Hazzard dans l’État de Géorgie, avec ses cousins Luke et Bo avec leur vieil oncle Jesse Duke, qui vit principalement de la fabrication et du trafic d'alcool maison. Ses cousins livrent cet alcool avec leur Dodge Charger de 1969, surnommée « General Lee ».Daisy travaille comme serveuse au Repaire du Sanglier (Boar's Nest en V.O.) dont le propriétaire est le maire Boss Hogg, beau-frère du shérif Rosco P. Coltrane.
Elle a une relation amoureuse avec l'adjoint du shérif Enos Strate. Elle sera même sur le point de l'épouser.
Personnalité
Malgré son côté naïf, elle sait s'imposer, et même se battre, lorsque cela est nécessaire. Elle est le sex-symbol de la série.
Dans le film de 2005, elle est incarnée par Jessica Simpson et montre un caractère assez différent de celui de la série, beaucoup plus axé sur la séduction et sur le décolleté. Par ailleurs, elle est blonde.
Dans le préquel Shérif, fais-moi peur : Naissance d'une légende, elle est au départ une jeune fille très coincée s'habillant de manière très discrète et large. Elle décide de changer radicalement d'attitude et de look pour être embauchée par Boss Hogg et séduire son neveu Hughie Hogg

Hazzard County is having a reunion festival, which includes a Toughman-style contest, and a rattlesnake chili cookoff, along with several other events. Uncle Jesse is the grand marshal of the reunion and at the same time, is facing a lawsuit filed by Mama Josephine Maxx for access across Duke property to the Hazzard swamp where she intends to build a theme park. Jesse however, refused access, not wanting to see the swamp destroyed. This however, has made the rest of the townsfolk angry with him, as the new theme park means new jobs, and revenue for Hazzard County.
