The film, set in Portland, opens with Doug (Cris Lankenau) moving in with his sister, Gail (Trieste Kelly Dunn). Doug has recently moved from Chicago, where he was studying forensic science and lived with now ex-girlfriend Rachel (Robyn Rikoon).
