Aileen Tan (born 18 October 1966) is a Singaporean veteran actress. She entered the entertainment industry through placing second in the first Star Search Competition in 1988.

Biography

Aileen's parents are of Hokkien descent and she married Hong Kong director Gerald in 2002. She had experienced an ectopic pregnancy in Year 2005, which eventually led to an abortion.

Her close friends in the entertainment industry include local award-winning actress Huang Biren, Pan Lingling as well as Hong Kong celebrity Jacqueline Law. It was reported that Law stayed at Aileen's house in Singapore to recuperate after becoming partially deaf after a diving accident in 1999, and to get away from the media glare in Hong Kong.
