Alex Avery (born 6 August 1971 in Bristol, Gloucestershire) is an English actor who played SC Terry Knowles in The Bill in 2001, and played Carl in Holby City in 1999. He has also guest starred in Shameless and EastEnders. He has also appeared in the film Quills and will be appearing in a Neil Jordan film in the future.
