Biography
Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California before moving to Manteca, California as a child and attending East Union High School. She studied ballet, French, and marine biology at Moorpark College, and began a modelling career before deciding to pursue acting. She studied drama with Ivana Chubbuck and secured a role the television series Two and a Half Men within months of her first Hollywood audition. In this role, she played in the recurring role as Kandi.Bowlby is well-known for her role as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva (2009).

À la suite d'une fausse couche, Rachel Wilson sort d'une longue dépression grâce à son mari, Tye, et sa fille, Ella. Un soir, son mari ne rentre pas à la maison pour le dîner. Lorsque l'enquête débute, les lieutenants Fergusson et Roper découvrent que Tye Wilson, qui est enseignant dans un lycée, est très populaire, apprécié et respecté par ses élèves et ses collègues, tout le monde le décrit comme un homme charmant, extrêmement bien organisé. Rachel confie à la police qu'ils forment un couple parfait, mais ne trouvant pas d'ennemis voulant lui nuire, elle devient la suspecte numéro un dans la disparition de son mari. "Slammin" Cleon Salmon (Michael Clarke Duncan) is a former world heavyweight boxing champion who retired to open a sports-themed restaurant in Miami. His antics lead him to believe that he owes $20,000 to the head of the Japanese Yakuza. Needing to come up with the money in one night, he challenges the wait staff to sell more food than they have ever sold, with the top waiter receiving $10,000 in cash and the lowest waiter getting a "broken ribs sandwich" courtesy of the champ. Zany hijinks ensue as the staff try to one-up each other and win the prize while avoiding a beating. In the end, Cleon realizes that he only owed 20,000 Yen to the Japanese Yakuza (which works out to be $170) and shares the takings with the wait staff. But before he goes to give the Japanese Yakuza the money, he beats up Guy since he was the lowest selling waiter.

The story is about a 12-year-old girl, Belle, who loses her mother in a car accident. She is sent to her grandfather's for releasing all of the kennel dogs where her father works. When all the animals start to get sick and die in Belle's hometown, her father's veterinarian girlfriend struggles to find out what is killing the healthy animals. When Belle's father and his girlfriend visit, Belle's dog attacks the grandfather's farmhand Basham. Because Belle is now running the farm, she decides the dog should be put to death because that is what she learned on the farm. She learns this after running away with one of her grandpa's horses, two puppies, and the dog she will later decide to euthanize. She almost dies while running away in the middle of a torrential downpour when she slips and falls and goes unconscious on a pair of railroad tracks while a train approaches. Luckily, Basham saves her. When the dog is about to die, It is discovered that the food Basham was carrying contained a lethal mold that was killing the animals. The vet goes to the factory where the food was made and fixes the problem, ending the dog epidemic. Then, Belle's rich grandpa has an inn turned into a no-kill animal shelter. And they all lived happily ever after.
