Axel Braun is an Italian adult film producer and director. He is the son of Lasse Braun, who was among the first to successfully campaign for the legalization of pornography in Europe. He has directed over 400 movies since 1990 Braun's movie Batman XXX: A Porn Parody was the best-selling and best-renting title of 2010. Due to the success of Batman, Vivid Entertainment created a new imprint to capitalize on the superhero and sci-fi genres called Vivid Superhero. Braun was named leading director for the initiative and has since released the film Superman XXX: A Porn Parody, Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody, Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody, The Avengers XXX: A Porn Parody and Iron Man XXX: A Porn Parody. Further movies including Spider-Man vs. Superman XXX, and X-Men XXX: A Porn Parody are in development under Braun's direction.
On October 29, 2010 Braun filed a federal lawsuit against 7,098 individuals who he claimed illegally shared digital copies of his movie Batman XXX: A Porn Parody. Two months later, all but one of his claims were dismissed by a federal judge. The Electronic Frontier Foundation praised the decision as a "big victory in the fight against copyright trolls."
Braun was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2011.
On January 19, 2013 Braun became the only Adult director to win the AVN Director of the Year award for three consecutive years.

J. Across town, a power line accident results in an electric company worker being granted the power to generate and control electricity. The worker decides to become a supervillain, and so dons a costume and rechristens himself Electro. Electro hires a prostitute, and electrocutes her after they have sex. The Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk, then approaches Electro, and hires him as part of an elaborate scheme.

Bruce Wayne’s girlfriend, Lisa Carson (Kimberly Kane), is kidnapped by the Riddler (Evan Stone). She has sex with him in an attempt to curry his favour, but he still ultimately delivers her to the Joker (Randy Spears). Batman and Robin (Dale DaBone and James Deen) are called in by the police to help in the rescue. Batman investigates a nightclub fronting the villains' lair, but is drugged and abducted by Molly (Alexis Texas), one of Joker's accomplices, who proceeds to have sex with him. Batgirl (Lexi Belle) learns of the situation and joins Robin, who is waiting for Batman to return from the club. Batgirl and Robin sneak into the villains’ lair, whereupon they find Joker having sex with his two accomplices. Aroused, Batgirl and Robin have sex, which distracts them and allows them to be discovered and captured by Catwoman's (Tori Black) henchmen. The four captives – Lisa, Batman, Robin and Batgirl – are brought before the villainous trio of Joker, the Riddler and Catwoman. Joker intends to kill them but Catwoman, unwilling to kill Batman, for whom she secretly harbours feelings, frees the captured heroes. The heroes battle and defeat the collected rogues. Grateful to Catwoman for her role in their victory, Batman and Robin have sex with her. However, upon discovering that she would still have to be brought to justice for her crimes, Catwoman escapes, activating a trap that imprisons Batman and Robin, ending the film on a cliffhanger.
