Early life
DeShazer was born in Racine, Wisconsin to singer Bruce DeShazer of The Wild Pair and mother Brenda Buchanan. He is of African American and French-Creole and Native American descent. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Marquette University.
