Brandon Douglas (born June 21, 1968) is an American actor. He first came to prominence in the television series Falcon Crest, in which he played Ben Agretti during the 1988–1989 season. He is well known for playing Dr. Andrew Cook in the popular CBS series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Other credits include: 21 Jump Street, Northern Exposure, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, and JAG. He also costarred as Cameron Frye in the short-lived sitcom Ferris Bueller.
Douglas was born Brandon Sokolosky in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and raised in Dallas, Texas. He was previously married to actress Julie Condra.

She Cried No tells the story of Melissa, a college freshman anxious to fit in with the popular crowd. After arriving, she immediately befriends her roommates Jordan and Kellie and attracts the attention of Scott, the member of the college's most popular fraternity (to which her brother, Michael, also belongs) who has a history of date raping fellow female students. She and Jordan attend a party at Scott's frat; there, she becomes the latest victim of Scott, who drugs her. Before he takes her upstairs to a room to rape her, she notices a passed out Jordan being taken to a room by a guy as well. Upstairs, Scott turns on loud music, and then rapes her. Melissa manages to escape his room afterwards and flees from the frat house in tears.

In Kenosha, Wisconsin, Ivy, editor at her high school paper, and her long-term boyfriend Seth are in their final year of high school and already have been accepted at good colleges; before Ivy goes to college to study journalism, she will go on a trip to Paris with her mother for her graduation present, while Seth will go to Caltech to study architecture. With the help of Ivy's best friend Laura, Ivy and Seth spend a weekend together, where they sleep together, and Ivy becomes pregnant. They announce the news at Thanksgiving, and neither Ivy's mother Denise, who was abandoned by her husband and brought up Ivy alone, nor Seth's Catholic parents are very supportive. Respectively, they urge the young couple to have an abortion or give up the baby for adoption. Ivy plans to have an abortion, but does not go through with it, much to Seth's relief.
