Bruno Philip est un directeur de la photographie, producteur et réalisateur québécois d'origine française, né à Gap le 29 mai 1956. Il vit à Montréal depuis 1982. Depuis 2016, il est le vice-président de la Canadian Society of Cinematographers au Québec. Il enseigne aussi la direction de la photographie à l’Université de Montréal au Québec, et produit depuis 2004 des films indépendants avec sa société de production Gapian Films.

Biography
Originaire de Gap, Bruno Philip a commencé sa carrière au théâtre. Il a étudié au Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec et à l’École du cirque de Paris dirigée par Annie Fratellini. Diplômé en production cinématographique de l’Université Concordia, il a signé la photographie d'une trentaine de films en télévision et au cinéma. Ses expériences l’ont amené à travailler dans divers pays, dont les États-Unis, l'Angleterre et la Grèce. Il est un membre actif de la Canadian Society of Cinematographers depuis 1998. Avec le court-métrage Honey and Ashes écrit par Harry Standjofski, il a signé en 1999 une première production canadienne à être entièrement tournée en combinant steadicam et haute définition.Usually with

La vie de Marc bascule lorsqu'Aurélie, l'amie de sa fille, est tuée par une voiture en sortant de chez eux. Non seulement Marc se sent coupable d'avoir dit à Aurélie de rentrer chez elle, car si elle était restée plus longtemps à jouer avec sa fille elle serait encore en vie, mais en plus il est hanté par le regard que la petite fille a fixé sur lui avant de mourir. Cette image intrusive lui rend la vie insupportable au point qu'il développe un état de stress post-traumatique. Refusant d'abord de se soigner, il accepte finalement de suivre une psycho-thérapie qui va profondément le bouleverser.

The film begins with a young girl, Lucie Jurin, as she escapes from a disused abattoir where she has been imprisoned and physically abused for a long period of time. No signs of sexual abuse are identified, and the perpetrators and their motivations remain a mystery. Lucie is placed in an orphanage, where she is befriended by a young girl named Anna Assaoui. Anna soon discovers that Lucie believes that she is constantly being terrorized by a ghoulish creature; a horrible, disfigured, emaciated woman.

In an asteroid excavation, space crewman Tyler and his colleague find a green crystal that is rumored to be the key to a fountain of immortality, however, it makes whoever touches it insane. Tyler ends up killing his mining partner, and takes over the ship, killing most of the resisting crew except for Dr. Schechter, and the pilots Lambert and Germain. His search for the planet with the fountain leads to Eden, a planet that is designated F.A.K.K.² (Federation-Assigned Ketogenic Killzone to the second level), but has inhabitants whose bodies carry the immortality fluid. Tyler invades Eden, and kills the Edenites, but captures some so he can extract their fluids. He also keeps Kerrie for his own purposes, but when Germain resists the idea, he is left on Eden.

The film opens to the sounds of a couple having sex. Afterwards, Carlos the Jackal (Aidan Quinn) kills a spider in its web with his cigarette and evicts the woman (Lucie Laurier) from his room because he claims he has work to do. He is seen donning a disguise, and he walks to a cafe where CIA officer Jack Shaw (Donald Sutherland) is sitting at a table outdoors. He recognizes Shaw and asks for a light. Shaw does not recognize Carlos, because of his disguise, but he turns to watch Carlos enter the cafe. He watches as Carlos detonates a grenade, killing dozens of people.

The year is 2078. The planet Sirius 6B, once a thriving mining hub, has been reduced to a toxic wasteland by a civil war between the mining company, known as the New Economic Block (NEB), and the Alliance, a group of former mining and science personnel. Five years into the war, Alliance scientists created and deployed Autonomous Mobile Swords (AMS) — artificially intelligent self-replicating machines that hunt down and kill NEB soldiers on their own. They are nicknamed "screamers" because of a high-pitched noise they emit as they attack. Screamers track targets by their heartbeats, so Alliance soldiers wear "tabs" which broadcast a signal canceling out the wearer's heartbeat and rendering them "invisible" to the machines.

This film takes place two years after the first film. Zane Zaminski (the protagonist from The Arrival) is found dead in a remote Eskimo community. It is believed that he died of a heart attack. His broadcast to the world about the aliens is believed to have been a UFO hoax due to his dismissal from NASA (this despite Earth continuing to have record temperatures). As his death is announced on TV, five people receive envelopes with details of an alien invasion. This group of five consists of three scientists, Zane's step brother Jack Addison, a computer expert whom he has not seen in seven years, and a reporter named Bridget Riordan. They receive papers talking of global warming and of aliens terraforming Earth into a planet hot like their own dying world.

A competition is held between two brothers on their father's ski slopes one is a skier the other a snowboarder. The competition would determine if snowboarders could be allowed to be a part the ski patrol. Into the scene arrives Rudy James, played by Jim Varney who stumbles his way into a job as ski patrol, entertainment host, and jack of all trades. What was cut out of the film was that Rudy James was hired by Mimi played by Brigitte Nielsen to ineptly sabotage the ski hill so that she could win it in a divorce proceeding. The two brothers discover her plot to damage their father's ski hill (played by SCTV's Joe Flaherty) and further hilarity ensues.
