Hugues-Lambert finit pourtant par trouver ses marques avec l'aide de la scripte, Lucie, tombée amoureuse de lui. Enfin, l'équipe se soude et le film décolle. Mais à huit jours de la fin du tournage,Huigues-Lambert disparaît. Arrêté par les nazis à cause de la liaison homosexuelle qu'il entretient avec un officier allemand, il est déporté à Drancy. Il mourra d'épuisement en mars 1945 à Buchenwald.

Unfortunately, that is just the moment when both Boris and Florence turn up. The story gets even more complicated as Florence's husband also comes to Yann's flat, and when Yann, when joking, mistakes a toy gun for a real one, and lightly injures Boris. But eventually all comes to a happy end.
