She represented Thailand in the Miss World 1996 pageant. She currently works as a TV and event host, actress and model in Thailand.
She graduated from Bangkok University majoring in public relations. She married her long-time boyfriend, actor Byron Bishop, whom she married in July 2005, and has two children, Leila Carmen and Aiden William.

Burbridge was raised in Pattaya by her American father, William Burbridge and Thai-Indian-British mother, Patricia. She was taught how to dive at an early age by her father.She graduated from Bangkok University majoring in public relations. She married her long-time boyfriend, actor Byron Bishop, whom she married in July 2005, and has two children, Leila Carmen and Aiden William.

The story opens with Portuguese soldier Fernando de Gama drowning in the ocean after a shipwreck. He comes to, finds some wreckage to float on and washes up on the coast of Siam. After almost being eaten by a crocodile, he is captured by Arab slave traders and taken to Ayutthaya. Released from his bonds to be put on the auction block, he promptly knocks down his captors and leads them on a chase throughout the ancient city.
