Craig Horner (born 24 January 1983) is an Australian actor and musician who first appeared in the Australian television program Cybergirl. He is best known for his role as Richard Cypher on the television series Legend of the Seeker.

Biography

Horner discovered a love for acting after appearing in school productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Maids. In addition to performing, Horner's other creative talents include playing the guitar and writing music. Horner was a member of the band "Earth For Now" (called "Unstable Conditions" in 2011) who played their first show in Hollywood, California, starting the set with "Howl at the Moon". Horner and bandmate Steve Matsumura announced their departure from the band on February 2, 2012. He published two songs on iTunes, "Avoid" and "Say What You Mean" under the name "Ithaca". An avid outdoorsman, Horner enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, tennis, swimming, skiing, snowboarding and kayaking. Craig went to St Peters Lutheran College in Indooroopilly, Brisbane, Australia. After graduating, he went on to pursue acting.

Horner has appeared in various TV programs since 2001: as Jackson in "Cybergirl"; as Jesse Spencer's brother in "Swimming Upstream;" as a reporter on "Totally Wild," and starred as Caleb in the U.S.'s "Monarch Cove". In 2008, Horner joined the cast of the Australian children's drama television series Blue Water High, portraying surfer Garry Miller and then Ash Dove in the series H2O: Just Add Water. He starred as Richard Cypher in Legend of the Seeker, the syndicated television adaptation of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series of books.

Amy (Danielle Harris), Seth (Kaj-Erik Eriksen) and their boss Holden (Michael Eklund) are working the graveyard shift at a local city morgue. As Amy is preparing to meet friends at a bar for her birthday, Holden receives news that a number of bodies are being delivered, the victims of a mass murder committed by Jacob Goodnight (Kane) at the Blackwell Hotel. Amy decides to cancel her plans and help her colleagues with the deliveries. Amy and Seth process the corpses, including that of Goodnight. As Amy leaves Seth to finish the work, she is startled to find Holden has allowed her friends Tamara (Katharine Isabelle), Kayla (Chelan Simmons), Carter (Lee Majdoub) and her brother Will (Greyston Holt) to throw a birthday party in the morgue. During the party, Will warns Seth to stay away from Amy, believing she deserves better than him, causing Seth to leave the party and return to work. Will tells Amy of his disapproval of her dropping out of Med School to work in the morgue, angering Amy who also leaves the party.

Police officer Frank Williams (Steven Vidler) and his partner Blaine (Corey Parker Robinson) investigate an abandoned house, where they find a young woman with her eyes ripped out.
