Daniel Pickering (born August 16, 1974) is a British TV/Film Producer, Visual FX artist and Animator, born in Whipps Cross, London, England.
Daniel is a Polymath. He has a background in electronic engineering & computer animation, he worked in special/visual FX as CGI consultant to Brian Johnson (two time academy award winner, Alien & Empire Strikes Back) before founding the animation & production company Annix Studios, based in Pinewood Studios, England.
He most notably created the Cbeebies show "Little Charley Bear" narrated by James Corden & the animated short film "Scragg 'n' Bones".
Entirely creating and producing his own content from start to finish, he developed the technology to produce both shows in-house.He lists both Jim Henson & Oliver Postgate as his main inspiration.
In November 2011, Daniel was nominated for a 2012 Broadcast award, for "Little Charley Bear"
Daniel is currently producing a live action feature film based on his childhood idol & is also executive producing Gerry Anderson's last 3D CGI animated feature film.
