Deanna Milligan (born 1972 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress. She has appeared in numerous Canadian and U.S. films and television shows. She had a major role playing Dave Thomas' daughter in the The Beachcombers made for TV movies: The New Beachcombers and A Beachcombers Christmas. She was the mystery woman in the Canadian independent short film Shoes Off!. She also costarred in the A&E TV movie Karroll's Christmas playing the girlfriend to Tom Everett Scott. Milligan also played the assistant to Santa Claus in the film Must Be Santa.
She was a regular on two short lived television shows: Northwood, where she played the troubled teen Jennifer, and Big Sound, where she played the bubbly assistant Jesse Polt to Greg Evigan. She has guest starred on shows such as The X-Files, Chris Carter's Millennium, Danger Bay, Neon Rider, 21 Jump Street, The Outer Limits, Sliders, Highlander: The Series, Da Vinci's Inquest, and Corner Gas.
She is married to actor Jason Gaffney and has two daughters. She currently runs a clothing line, Cherry Blossom, with actress Stacy Grant.

Allen Karroll hates Christmas ever since his ex-girlfriend humiliated him in front of thousands of people one Christmas. As a man who writes greeting cards for a living, this proves to be a hindrance. He also hates the man who lives across the street, Zeb Rosecog, played by Wallace Shawn, who seems to take delight in tormenting him, who also happens to be the former CEO of the greeting card company where Karroll is employed. One day, Karroll is visited by the ghost of Jacob Marley (related to Bob Marley), as well as the ghost of Christmas present, past and future (in that order) who all happen to have come to the wrong address, and had actually meant to visit Rosecog. During this experience, Karroll learns a lot about himself as well as Rosecog, and discovers that he and Rosecog have a lot in common, and decides to help Rosecog to see the light, and rediscover the joy of Christmas. Both men are able to rectify their mistakes of years past and Allan later realizes that the ghosts may not have made a mistake after all.

Leila Murray works as a receptionist in a motel. She begins to offer sexual services to customers in exchange for money. Nomadic, flaky Caroline Wolff (Ellen Barkin) wants to settle down in one place, find a decent man, and provide a better home for her and her son, Tobias "Toby" Wolff (Leonardo DiCaprio).
