Biography
Il quitte Paris et s'installe à Hollywood en 1991, où il apprend diverses métiers liés à la production cinématographique. Il devient le "music supervisor" de plusieurs films : L'Extrême Limite de James B. Harris, Meurtre à Alcatraz de Marc Rocco, Stargate de Roland Emmerich. C'est en travaillant avec ces différents réalisateurs qu'il prend confiance et se lance dans l'écriture et la réalisation de La Loi des armes (Scenes of the Crime) avec Jeff Bridges, Noah Whyle et Peter Greene. The story revolves around a young driver, Lenny (Abrahams), working for a gangster, running various errands and asking no questions. After the kidnapping of an enemy mobster, Jimmy Berg (Bridges), a bitter feud erupts between the two groups with Lenny caught in the middle. Stuck in a van alone with Berg, surrounded by Berg's men, the otherwise neutral driver is forced to choose a side, but is torn by the decision.

This film opens with police officer Jimmy Mercer (Wesley Snipes) and his partner Brady (Dan Hedaya) doing some undercover work, when Mercer's fellow agent is shot and killed by a new man, Ronnie (Viggo Mortensen) that criminal Red Diamond (Dennis Hopper) pulled out of jail. Now on a snap of anger and thoughts of revenge, Mercer wants to find the killer and take him down before he gets transferred to another precinct. Although a cop and close colleague claims over dinner that Mercer must do it "by the book," Mercer replies that "when I'm done with this motherfucker, I'm gonna put him in a box..... by the book.
