Earl Hurd (September 14, 1880 – September 28, 1940) was a pioneering American animator and film director. He is noted for creating and producing the silent Bobby Bumps animated short subject series for early animation producer J.R. Bray's Bray Productions. Hurd and Bray are jointly responsible for developing the processes involved in cel animation, and were granted patents for their processes in 1914.
American Animator Andy Luckey (1965- ) is a maternal cousin, twice removed, of Hurd's.

Le jeune éléphant Elmer traverse la jungle pour rejoindre la fête d'anniversaire de Tillie la tigresse. Après lui avoir offert des fleurs, il obtient un baiser de la part de Tillie. Minnie Mouse is getting the picnic things ready for a picnic. And Mickey Mouse is by his car, getting the picnic things ready for his girlfriend, Minnie Mouse as they are having a picnic together, just the two of them. But then, a sleek sports car rushes by and stops. Mortimer Mouse is one of Minnie's old friends who is also known as Mickey's rival. He backs up and crashes his car into Mickey's car, pushing it into a tree. Mortimer starts to make fun of his short rival making Mickey berserk. He takes two of his buttons from his shorts off. One button is hidden in Mickey's hand whilst the other button is thrown away. Mickey furiously tries to grab Mortimer's buttons from his long trousers, but they electrocute him making him even more berserk.

Dans le far west, Minnie chevauche vers la ville. Elle y rencontre un cowboy solitaire, Mickey, qui lui déclare qu'elle doit faire attention à elle, car la ville et ses environs ne sont pas sûrs. Minnie sort ensuite de la banque avec un gros sac d'argent. Pat Hibulaire regroupe alors les membres de son gang pour la voler. Ils la prennent en chasse à l'extérieur de la ville. Mickey voit la pauvre ville pourchassée depuis son perchoir, une haute montagne et décide de la sauver. Il chevauche dans le canyon où elle pense se réfugier.
