Eric Forsberg (born December 16, 1959) is the writer and director of the feature film Mega Piranha, as well as the writer of the feature film Snakes on a Train, one of the first mockbusters produced and released by The Asylum. He also wrote the screenplays for 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea and War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave, also for The Asylum. He directed the film Alien Abduction which aired on Sci Fi Channel, as well as Night of the Dead which aired on Chiller TV. Other writer and director credits include the political thriller Torture Room, and the stoner comedy Sex Pot, as well as Monster, Almighty Thor, Arachnoquake, and Age of the Hobbits. He also worked as a Co-Producer and assistant director on numerous films for Christopher Coppola and Alain Silver, including White Nights, Bel Air, and Palmer's Pickup. In his early years Forsberg was an improvisational comedy instructor at The Players Workshop and The Second City Training Center in Chicago.
Before moving to Hollywood in 1997, Forsberg worked as a writer and director in the Chicago theater scene. The original musical, Knat Scatt Private Eye, with Steve Carell, was among his more successful productions. Forsberg also taught improvisation at The Players Workshop and The Second City Training Center where his students included Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Tim Meadows, and Rachel Dratch. Forsberg also worked as a director for the youth programs at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His performance credits include Silas Brimfire at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.
Soon after Forsberg arrived in Los Angeles, he began working with director Christopher Coppola and producer Alain Silver. Following that he started writing screenplays and directing feature films for David Michael Latt and David Rimawi at The Asylum. Eric Forsberg was a founding member of The Second City Training Center in Los Angeles where his students included Brian Stepanek and Masi Oka. Forsberg lives in Southern California with his wife Karen and his daughter Lola. He is a founding member of the production company Cerebral Experiment.

Spanky and Mert are best friends who are left alone for the weekend after Spanky's parents let him stay with Mert's brother who is Mert's legal guardian. However, Mert's brother is not in Los Angeles because he had left town for parts unknown after breaking up with his nerdy zoologist girlfriend, Pinky. At Mert's apartment, he and Spanky find a pot stash that Mert's brother left behind, and upon smoking it, realize that it makes the sexual drive of the average person go crazy. Mert, a self-assured jerk and Lothario, decides to attend a pool party in Malibu to follow a pair of wild and loose women, named Cindy and June, who live in the apartment next to theirs, to hook up with them. But in doing so, the two stoners have a series of misadventures to get to the party while being chased by the angry Pinky who is looking for Mert's brother.

The film takes place in Tokyo in 2003, where two reporters, Hana Izumi and Hyuga Kanata, have arrived to document unusual seismic disturbances that have been picked up around Tokyo. When a great white shark eats the potential catch of a sport fisherman, the man and his daughter violently retaliates by sadistically torturing and killing the shark, whose corpse then sinks to the bottom of an underwater cave and is subsequently resurrected as a ghost shark due to the cave's mysterious paranormal properties. Now hungry for revenge, the ghost shark eats his redneck killers along with the captain of their boat, eventually setting its sights on the rest of the local community in the seaside town of Harmony. Due to the great white's new spectral form, it can attack and kill anyone as long as there is even the smallest amount of water nearby, including coming out of a swimming pool, a bathtub, a bucket, a metal pipe, and even a drinking cup, killing many people in several locations.

When the demon god Loki (Richard Grieco) wipes off the city of Valhalla to steal the Hammer of Invincibility, only the young hero Thor (Cody Deal) can recover the cities from evil.
