Françoise Robertson is a Canadian actress, known to US audiences for her portrayal of D'orothea Wilson in the TV miniseries More Tales of the City (1998) and its follow-up Further Tales of the City (2001). These miniseries were sequels to Tales of the City (1994), which starred Cynda Williams in the role of D'orothea.
She appeared as the main character of the third story in the 1996 TV movie Twists of Terror.
She was born in Montreal.

The film depicts the struggle of Luz Cuevas (Judy Reyes) to find her baby daughter, Delimar Vera Cuevas, who disappeared in 1997 after their house caught fire during a party, just ten days after she was born. The police reported that Delimar was killed in the fire. However, Cuevas suspects that she was kidnapped and that the fire was staged by an outsider. Her husband, Pedro Vera (Hector Luis Bustamante), becomes estranged from her as a result. Six years after the fire, Cuevas meets Valerie Valleja (Ana Ortiz), former wife of one of Pedro's cousins, who was also at the party on the day of the fire. She has a six-year-old girl with her, named Aaliyah. The girl bears a resemblance to Cuevas and she suspects it is Delimar. Cuevas begins an investigation into Valleja, and finds out that Aaliyah is in fact Delimar through a DNA test. Valerie is arrested and Aaliyah (Delimar) is returned to her family.

Mariés depuis peu, Megan et Dave partagent une grande et belle demeure, équipée de tout le confort. Mais des difficultés financières viennent contrarier leur bonheur. Refusant de diminuer leur train de vie, ils décident de louer une partie de leur vaste demeure. Mais Dave, souvent absent du fait de son métier de chirurgien, constate que la locataire joue un double jeu. En effet, il estime que Courtney est un peu trop proche de Megan. The film's plot revolves around the coming of the Apocalypse, heralded by the imminent liberation of the Antichrist from the depths of Hell through a certain gateway at the close of one full millennium. This gate can only be opened by a special key, which has been kept guarded by the order of the Templars (who in this version existed since the last days of Jesus). The key in turn is sought out by the servant of the Antichrist, simply known as the Minion, a demonic spirit that transfers itself into the next available host body when his previous one is killed off. His first attempt to gain the key at the close of the year 999 is foiled; the sole surviving Templar of the company charged with hiding the key eventually takes off with a ship to the west, to what was at that time known as the "end of the world", to keep it from the Minion's grasp.
