Hunter Tylo (born Deborah Jo Hunter, July 3, 1962) is an American actress, author and former model. She is best known for her role as Dr. Taylor Hayes (1990–2002, 2004–14) on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Tylo has been married three times and has four children. She married her first husband, Tom Morehart, in 1980. They have a son, Christopher "Chris" Morehart, and divorced in 1984.
In 1987, she married actor Michael Tylo, with whom she had daughters Izabella Gabrielle and Katya Ariel Tylo and son Michael Edward "Mickey" Tylo, Jr. In 1998, the couple's daughter Katya was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the eye called retinoblastoma. Doctors removed the affected right eye and began chemotherapy. Later in the year a tumor was detected in Katya's other eye; that tumor inexplicably disappeared. Katya recovered and wears a prosthetic right eye. The couple divorced in 2005. On October 18, 2007, their son, Michael Tylo, Jr., drowned in the family pool in Henderson, Nevada. The Clark County Coroner concluded that Michael Tylo, Jr.'s death was caused by "drowning due to seizure disorder," and was ruled accidental.
In May 2008, Tylo filed a restraining order against boyfriend Corey Cofield, claiming that he had acted violently towards her and her children; she asked for the order to be withdrawn in October 2008, telling a judge that Cofield was attending therapy and was much better. Tylo and Cofield broke up in September 2009.
On November 29, 2009, Tylo married Gersson Archila in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tylo is a born again Christian. She attributes her daughter Katya's recovery from cancer to constant prayer and credits her faith for helping her deal with the death of her son, Michael.

The mad scientist named Preston King (Jeffrey Combs) invites the doctors that could not save his son Paul King (Anton Argirov) from kidney cancer before to his uncharted island in the western Pacific. There, Tom Reed (William Forsythe), Paul's widowed wife Amelia Lockhart (Hunter Tylo), who believes Paul died five years ago from cancer, and several meet on the island. There, Dr. King reveals that Paul never died and was saved from death by being injected with hammerhead shark DNA and filling his stem cells. This turned Paul into a half-man, half-shark creature. Dr. King leaves and releases the water from the tank where he was keeping Paul and hopes that he will eat them as revenge for them firing him from his job five years ago. As Paul, now known as Hammerhead, chases after them, they escape along with Hammerhead.

Alex Taylor lives in L.A. with his older brother, Jack, who works as a personal fitness trainer and sometime gigolo. Alex's classmates begin to harass him after he misses the game-winning shot at the end of one of his high school's basketball games. Meanwhile, Laszlo Pryce, a rich and corrupt businessman, discovers Jack's affair with his wife, Mitzi. Laszlo threatens to kill Jack and Alex unless Jack travels to New York City to seduce a widower named Rachel Montgomery. On the verge of selling her company, Laszlo wants Jack to relay any inside information he can discover about the impending transaction. Fearing for his younger brother's life, Jack brings Alex with him on the trip. Kelly Fairchild (Daphne Zuniga) is a university student who has suffered from a recurring nightmare in which a strange man is burning to death inside her childhood home. Adding to her stress, Kelly is also about to take part in her sorority's initiation ritual, which entails her and a group of pledges breaking into her wealthy father's multi-level department store after hours.
