Biography
Né à Berkeley, Jake Schreier poursuit ses études à New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Il a réalisé des vidéos musicales et des films commerciaux. Il a cofondé le collectif Waverly Films à Brooklyn. Il figure sur la liste des "meilleurs nouveaux réalisateurs" du magazine Creativity Magazine. En 2012 il réalise Robot and Frank qui est nommé au Sundance Film Festival, et au Festival de Deauville.Best films

In Orlando, Florida, Quentin "Q" Jacobsen (Nat Wolff) lives next door to his childhood friend Margo Roth Spiegelman (Cara Delevingne). Quentin has been fascinated with Margo ever since she moved in across the street. As young children, Quentin and Margo one day discover the corpse of a man who has committed suicide. Following this incident, the movie flashes forward to present-day Quentin and Margo, who are now high school seniors. While they have drifted apart, Quentin still has feelings for her. One night, Margo appears at Quentin's bedroom window with a plan to take revenge on her high school friends and boyfriend, who she feels have betrayed her. Set in the near future, an aging ex-convict and thief named Frank Weld (Frank Langella) lives alone and is experiencing increasingly serious mental deterioration and dementia. Kent McCoy, a real estate agent, is a loving husband and father who, for the birthday of his son Jack, hosts a party and invites a clown to amuse Jack and his friends. The clown accidentally goes to another party, but Kent discovers an old clown costume in the attic of one of the houses he is overseeing and decides to wear it, entertaining his son and his friends. After the party, Kent falls asleep still wearing the clown costume, but the next morning he is no longer able to take it off, as the body suit, wig, and red nose are progressively adhering to his skin. When his pregnant wife Meg tries to help Kent remove the fake nose, it rips from his flesh, wounding him. Kent also begins to show strange behaviour and a deep sense of hunger, with a noisy gurgling in his stomach.
