James Murtaugh (born October 28, 1942) is an American film and television actor. He is known for his rich and distinctive voice and was for years the television spokesperson for A1 Steak Sauce. Murtaugh is also a member of the Off-Broadway theater company TACT (The Actors Company Theatre). He also played the killer in the 1987 film The Rosary Murders.

Howard Stern boards a flight home following an appearance at the MTV Music Video Awards as his alter-ego, "Fartman".
